At Vale, my favourite player as a kid was Ian Bogie.

On a wider scale, I had a massive soft spot for Matt Le Tissier.

Andy Preece, Phil Clarkson, Steve Banks and Martin Bullock were all my favourites during that time. Brett Ormerod in his first stint was incredible too.

Martin bullock used to tear us apart.

Latics wise. Gunnar Halle or Lee Richardson. Ritchie and that were coming to the end of their careers.

Outside of leagueoneforever athletic.

Le Tissier and Dennis Bergkamp.

Alan Groves and Alf Wood

From the old First Division
George Best (even though I have never followed Man Utd).
Howard Kendall, Colin Harvey, Alan Ball (Everton)

Alan groves winger with the Afro? Our fans always go on about him as the best they've seen.
