Every week I leave the match thinking the refs couldn't get much worse and the following Saturday they manage to surpass themselves. Absolutely shocking today.

Absolutely delighted. A fairly even game where that could have gone either way but for once it went in our favour. Murphy was brilliant today and Hockaday's double substitution at half time is what changed the game. Holman was a real handful against us again and Cunnington's diving is still blatant for all to see. Woking's defence seemed more frail than I expected but their midfield was quite strong.

Off the bottom of the table at last, Forest Green, we're coming for you!

Delighted with the win and the scoreline. Barrow weren't that bad but didn't look like scoring all game. The goal they did get was a great strike that came out of nowhere and even took their fans by surprise so they didn't celebrate for a good few minutes.

Rhys Taylor looks so much more assured than Cam Belford. It's back on!

Not gonna lie, I was really really disappointed in us today, particularly the second half, everyone bar Bush let themselves down. I'm not buying this two games in such a short space of time crap, they're professional sportsmen.

Bromley will finish mid-table, the better sides will pick them off.

Response needed next Sunday.

Just got back from Prenton park and I have to say that Dover were very good at what they do, that is direct, up in the air, physical football. I bet they have some aspiring astronomers in their squad. To be fair though they did play some nice on the deck defence splitting passes on the counter attack and I didn't think they were that dirty either.
I sat in the town end of the John King today and a rather fragile looking old dear spat her false teeth out as she couldn't shout her expletives out quick enough when Miller controlled the ball with his hand before slotting it into the net. Very disappointed with the ref to allow that goal to stand. Out of luck again today.

Anyone see what the commotion was in the town paddock towards the end of the game?

Congratulations to Kiddy on their first win of the season.

The standard of refereeing in this league is an absolute joke. Before Eastleigh Fan starts, we didn't play well today and absolutely didn't deserve to win, but we didn't deserve to lose either. Their goal was CLEARLY handled before the shot, right in front of the linesman and like last week's penalty decision, the linesman and referee didn't give it. I've never seen Prenton Park so irate at the referee.
These decisions are costing us points now, and the last week saw us lose our FA Cup place too.
Thought Dover looked a good side and, timewasting aside, probably the best side we've played so far this season. We're here for a another year on that shambles.

Also, GET IN KIDDY!

Supposedly one of their players, judging by the way he was manhandled up the tunnel by the 4th official possibly that disgusting snide of a number 7, spat at somebody in the crowd during his warm down after being subbed. If he did he wants to be thankful that the Stewart's etc got to him before the fans did

Agree... Dover pulled off the classic away performance. Nick a controversial goal and then sit behind the ball and engage in ridiculous time wasting. The referee eventually booked two of them for it, but should have taken control a long time before he did.

We didn't deserve to win, a draw would have been a fair result. We just couldn't break them down, which is entirely our own fault.

I don't think we've heard the last of the Dover subs inciting the crowd, both the Police and stewards are taking an interest.

A horrible, petulant game with yet another set of clowns as officials.

Yes I heard off people on the way back to the car that spitting was involved. Why the hell was he doing a warm down there with only minutes left on the clock.

A point not much use to either side really. If we hadn't been so bad first half, we could well have won that. Torquay got more ragged as the game went on. Not a very good game.

even the radio commentators wern't sure - only the radio Cumbria team in the press box realised it had gone in.

On another matter the video evidence should be interesting - Vidal may have a violent conduct ban coming if the 2 footed off the ground challenge that led to Neil Ashton being stretchered off is as bad as it sounded - Ashton looks like he will be out for ages - according to our manager he has 2 stud marks that have gone right through to the bone

He looked to leave his feet for an earlier challenge but the one on Ashton didn't look that bad and I was sat right in front of it. Would be a cruel irony as Vidal was clattered two or three times after that, quite badly. Still a shame for Ashton, hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

4-1 was a bit cruel on Barrow as we've certainly played worse teams this season. There was a hand ball in the run up to their goal though...

Wait until you see Dover's. The closest thing I can liken it to is Thierry Henry vs Ireland. (Except he scored himself).

AFC Telford 1 (McCarthy 2, ) Alfreton 1 (Sam Jones) 38

Id love to know what we do in midweek because it certainly isnt defending. We are laughable at times. Once again another abject start and we are a goal down to the softest goal you will see.

Then the Referee decided to enter the fray by brandishing a Red to Clancy on 19 minutes. Dangerous challenge but a yellow and move on for sure. Very harsh red. That was after 19 minutes. For the rest of the game we struggled to create chances against 10 men AGAIN. Sam Jones bundled home a poor corner at the near post for our leveller. Very scrappy.

The Telford pulled off two superb saves from long range efforts from Thanoj and Wilson but a win would have been underserved.

We are shocking and look in big trouble of another relegation IMO at the moment. How we are 12th lord knows. Something needs to change at the club and quick. We look to be heading for the abyss.

Personally I thought we were awful today. Started brightly and looked as though we had come for the win - the Ashton injury was the turning point. I only thought it was a yellow at the time as it looked more forceful than malicious. But it did disrupt our rhythm and our right-back switching to left was a bad move.
I think the main reason none of us celebrated was because none of the players did, so we assumed it had hit the side netting. Really don't think our players could give a shit if it was a goal or not... No effort at all from at least 7 of them, our keeper is a liability, Cook is knackered after carrying a team on his own for three months, and our "saviour" Newby was bossed by two good defenders.
Wrexham: Vose and centre back number 6 are quality and some half-decent players throughout. A LOT of rolling about on the floor and feigning injury made it frustrating, and why read everything out in Welsh first? Everyone in the stadium can speak English...

Why should you? What have you got that other teams don't?
Because as Lew has said we've been building for a good few seasons now and we came pretty damn close last season with a squad that is arguably a lot worst than we have now. If the league is ttuly weaker than before then surely with a better squad we should be doing much better. Alas we are not and Hurst is the common denominator.

We do have a number of fans who speak Welsh as a first language to be fair. I'm not a Welsh speaker but I like that we are trying to be bilingual. Although it does mean the announcements get quite lengthy!

Number 6 was Grimsby's worst player of all time Jamal Fyfield. He's done pretty well this season, can pass the ball and brings a nice balance to our defence because he's left footed.

We've really missed James Gray up front for the last few games and it was no surprise to anyone that we played quite well when he came on at half time. And hopefully the performance of Jennings when he moved back to midfield will finally silence the supporters who for some unfathomable reason still think that he's shit in that position.

Michael Jackson's Thriller has to be the best goal celebration song of all time. We should stick with it.

Happy Barroween everyone.

A couple of things stood out about Barrow. One was that they never looked like scoring, which is odd for a team with Cook, Walker and Newby (not sure why he was taken off as he looked decent) in their squad. But mainly half of the team looked really out of shape. Ashton definitely wasn't that fat when he played for us, and a few of Barrows players seemed to be carrying a bit of extra timber.

Livesey looked good as always.

Played well first half and their keeper made a couple of cracking saves to keep level at half time.
Second half we never got going again and looked very flat at times and got punished for slack. lazy defending especially from Waterfall.
The ref was very picky especially against Rhead( I'm sure other teams will be delighted to hear that) and pulled him up for allsorts but their no.5 stuck his finger in his eye when the ball was incoming and let it go.
Good to see the reaction from the players at the end, good to see we have a group who are actually bothered when they lose.
Sure we'll bounce back next week, just wasn't our day.

Dover deserved to win, regardless of the hand-ball winner. The referee evened up the mistakes by not awarding a penalty for a clear foul by McNulty, will Luton take him back at the end of the loan spell, I wonder. Short of playing Iain Turner in midfield and Jennings in goal, Brabin couldn't have managed to pick more players out of position. The man is a clueless muppett

Sorry, but the officials at Southport were worse - they gave offside against Charlie Walker in the 2nd half from a goal kick!!!

Disappointed to come away with nothing today, thought the players responded to a lot of criticism quite well and deserved more. We started really well, got ahead and should have scored more, for the first 20 minutes or so we were excellent. End up conceding two ridiculous goals in a minute.

Threw it away really, but there were positives to take away at least this week. Was interesting to see how we lined up without Rooney, back to a 4-4-2 and looked better. I'm not sure where he slots back in, I wouldn't want to put him back in the middle as he's too lightweight for it. I'd stick him on the right, he has no pace but can at least but some decent crosses in.
