Now we've got the monkey off our backs (pun intended) I quite fancy us for this one. Our backline seems quite efficient over the last three games and we've started scoring again. Woods is suspended for five yellows so I expect Walker to start in midfield. I would have said the mid week journey is an extra goal for us but that's not always the case. The mighty Rakish could be available but his replacement notched on Saturday so he might have to sprinkle his magic from the bench and be an impact sub.

We still love Trigger but sorry Darrell we don't love you that much.

2-1 to Pools.

It's a shame this one's mid week cos Rovers normally bring a few , at least we will see real football fans in the Rink End ,,not like those in Red from the same city ...do teams travel in the morning for these games ? If so it really can't help

Amazing what a good result at the weekend does for your average fan.

I was feeling pretty low after the Exeter game and had a nasty tantrum listening when they scored, fought well and were the better side last week and have ground out another win yesterday. Nice to see us edge games in which we've played badly. Bodes well. But losing when we've deserved more in some games.

Looking at the overall picture, I think results and performances absolutely reflect where we are as a side and most likely in and around where we'll end up in May.

We're certainly better than last year but still a work in progress.

I fancy us to do well in the next two home games but fade away a bit afterwards looking at the future fixtures.

Cheers Darrell for everything but reckon we'll do the business on Tuesday.

Echo what the other poolies are saying. Rovers usually well-supported coming up here.

This is the first game, home and away, that I will have missed for two years. I'm disappointed to be missing out but in terms of length of trip and the fact it's midweek, it doesn't bother me too much.

We haven't been great for a good few games now and that obviously doesn't bode well, but we tend to do well away from home. It's a big plus to have Danny Leadbitter back in the team and I'm hoping DC has the balls to start Billy Bodin, as he has looked decent in his recent outings.

I'd love to say 0-1 Gas, but I fear that is maybe too optimistic.

We'll still bring 150 hopefully. I'm setting off at 12. We're better away and results havent matched performances of late ( except saturday) we're still a decent side on our day and can beat anyone in this league but I can't see past a draw tomorrow by to sides that'll probably finish a solid mid table comfortably

Once again Ronnie has dipped into the loan market and found us a couple of very capable defenders , I can't see us letting many in over the next 3 or 4 games

I really wanted to make this but the voice of apparent reason( my wife) has intervened. I'll predict a 1-1 draw with Harrison scoring for us. Safe journey to all the gasheads making the trip ( nutters :bg:)

It can be a bit of a nightmare getting over the A19 near Middlesbrough on a tea time ,.setting off half an hour earlier wouldn't be the worst idea in the world ....

Some good advice from Mr Glass for once.A19/689 & Tees road usually gridlocked 4-30 onwards.

another game you wonder why it is fixtured for a Tuesday night, do the FA not care about the supporters ?

Had this discussion already - it actually makes sense. The real nutters will still go, and it allows bigger attendances at closer games. Eg. Orient are trekking to Carlisle and Plymouth on Tuesdays this season (and vice versa) which is ridiculous on the face of it, but we'd take maybe 250ish to each on a Saturday, and 125 on a Tuesday. But for, say, Crawley we'd take 450-500 on a Tuesday we'll take 1,000+ on a Saturday, so overall we'll get around 300-400 more fans to the games doing it that way around.

Whilst accepting that argument as a general rule , in the case of Bristol Rovers it could knock 500 off our gate , make no mistake , Bristol Rovers are well supported and people oop north look forward to seeing a full ish away end for a change

I understand where you are coming from, but instead of going all the way to Carlisle, why not make it one of the North East clubs like Accie

Only Pools and York are North East , this is the worst year I can remember for a north /south imbalance , I'm guessing even with the best will in the world , fixtures like this midweek are almost unavoidable

We only have 40 on the coach. I know 2 mini buses that are full few flying up and however many are driving. I'd expect 150ish

That's pretty good for the distance on a tuesday night, i doubt we'd have anything like that for the travelling involved.

Feels so weird because I wanted to go to the game, but I'm going to have to settle for the radio instead.

I'm feeling positive that we can get a result. Come on Gas, bring home those points!

There's only one reason for this match taking place on a Tuesday. The Gas are known trouble makers :eyes: Why, even the match at The Abbey between this lands finest side - that's us by the way, and Rovers which was scheduled for Saturday 31st Oct has now been moved a day forward.

Why doesn't the FA just kick 'em out I say? ;)

Ps Just in case the use of emoticons in my post isn't clear enough - I'm only kidding so no need for any angry retorts from the Gas fans!
