It's strange as he was pretty useless when he came through the youth team here 6/7 years ago, never looked accustomed to senior football in his few appearances. Said it all when he dropped so many levels to Woodley, never expected to hear of him again yet here he is top scorer in top 5 leagues of English football. Stupid game.

I remember him scoring against Dagenham (I think it was them) in one of his few games for us in the football league, I remember thinking he looked useful and was surprised when we let him go.

Having said that I am surprised he is quite so good now.

I won't bother putting ours up from yesterday, they lasted just over two minutes. This was more than enough to show one goal, an excellent save from a keeper who had just passed the ball to John Parkin, then a trip from the same keeper to deny Frear a shot on goal. Nothing else happened.

Yeah i think it was probably the surprise element to it that made the keeper a bit late on his dive.
