I'm shocked that Akinde didn't go down in the first half when he burst past the defender and into the box.

Lost count of the number of penalties he's won in similar circumstances.

We will be lucky if we don't rue all those missed chances, although that pitch looks horrible so hopefully Grimsby will also slip up on Easter Monday.

I watched on a mobile so not the best picture but it looked as though Akinde kicked the ball into your guy's leg - the way the ball span away indicated a double contact. Not that we can complain even if this was harsh - we've been awarded something silly like 19 penalties this season...!

The picture quality is not great and I decided to watch it on a laptop screen to better see the incident. For me, it is a penalty as Akinde tries to clear the ball but kicks the player's leg as the ball bobbles at the vital moment. His reaction after the referee blows up and awards the penalty is telling, he knows he fouled the player.

I can't bear to watch the highlights, I don't want to risk a recurring nightmare. I think it is fair to say that both teams got exactly what they deserved from the game yesterday and your fans were easily the noisiest visitors we have had all season. I overheard a couple of Shots fans walking away from the ground who were surprised that we were so bad, sad to say they weren't alone and around 1800 home fans were similarly disappointed.

Gah, Rovers got a big dollop of luck for all of their first four goals IMO plus Chester should have scored after the forward rounded Puddy when it was 0-0.

Those highlights brought back nightmares of games from earlier in the season. Grimsby away and Macc at home.

Its incredible how hot and cold and inconsistent we are! One thing that has been evodent through the season is we have always bounced back from a poor performance with a vastly improved one. We will need to do that again tomorrow.

Very much so. He was always OK cutting back onto it near he byline and standing up crosses but never anything like that! Great strike for the lad, good to see him doing well.

He set up our equaliser as well, and had their left back in his pocket 2nd half, if only our other players could head the ball as well as Disley can.....
