Fair point, don't think I've got the bottle though to be honest.

I know what you mean i generally need to be pissed to put bets that big on. Maybe just put 45 on then youve still got a ton profit and interest for tommorrow

Hope it wins then. Im steering clear or il lose the plot and do hundreds in, although i feel a missed oppurtunity today but oh well.

I know what you mean, it always looks so easy when you see a few people have won money and you feel like you missed a chance to win some. Most of us will probably end up giving it all back to the bookies anyway!

A lot of time to make not that much money
I've made over £2,500 in the last 18 months. Not to be sniffed at.

Not a bad first day today.

it's free money and you can easily make a grand a month if you know what you're doing.

How much time do you need to put in though to make a grand?

We made a grand in the first couple of months but then kind of stopped. Still do it but not often enough. My mate started in November and has made £1,800

not a lot, but it helps if you sign up to a site that helps you do it - especially when you're just starting out. Big funds means you have to be smarter with your mug betting and spreading your bets etc... too which can be a pain. Betting sites manually review consistent withdrawals and any over £500.

Tbh i cant be arsed at all to put hours and hours of my time in to make £100 a week im pretty sure i could make the money at work in less time. But i see why people do it obviously. If i was in a different situation i probably would do it.

What you think for tomorrow?

I'm thinking..

1.30 Yanworth 11/8 (free skybet £25 bet every day baby!)
2.10 More of That 2/1
- Blaklion 10/1 small e/w
2.50 Diamond King 10/1 small ew
- Blazer 14/1 small ew
3.30 Un De Sceaux 4/5 will win if gets round
4.10 Balthazar King 13/2 ew
- Third intention 25/1 small ew
5.30 Augusta Kate 9/1 ew
Castello Sforza 12/1 small ew

Yanworth, More of That, UDS treble pays 11/1. I've also had a multiple with No More Heroes in in the 2.10 as I think that will be tight between More Of That and No More Heroes

£25 double, No More Heroes and UDS pays £167.

Think that'll be all for today.

Might as well throw my picks into the ring.

1.30 - reverse forecast on Yorkhill and Yanworth. Got them both in each way doubles with Un De Sceaux and backed them both as singles with Will Hill so hoping for a 1-2 for winnings and a free bet!

3.30 - Sprinter looks good value but it was rubbish last year. 2 decent runs since though. A reverse forecast on Sprinter and Sceaux looks a good bet. I will probably have something each way on Sprinter too. Will also have backed/layed singles on Sprinter and Sceaux to again try and get some free bets with Wills!

Come on!

Anybody that thinks matched betting isn't worth it is a true mug punter. I've hit over £3k profit since the end of December and that's without putting that much time into it really.

I've been placing my bets at a Betfred store, as I take my Grandad before work and up until 12 they've got price boosts on Yanworth at 7/4 and Un De Sceaux at evens until midday.

Just to let people know incase they pass a Betfred store on their travels.

Got a few silly bets on today.

A Toi Phil is up first on top of a silly acca and a lucky 15.

Got a tenner e/w on Sprinter Sacre because he's generally a machine. Feel he could be a tad old and the younger favourite should have it.

Not quite, done a £5 treble of Yanworth, More of That and UDS to try and cover some money.

Treble of Baron Alco, Un De Sceaux and Yorkhill off a free fiver and I fancy Dodging Bullets at 3:30 as well so I've had my other free fiver on that.

Other small stakes on Kasakh Noir at 4:50, Itsafreebee at 1:30 and Baron Alco single at 2:50. Not too optimistic today but hopefully one will come in!

That was an awful run by Barry, wide the whole way round getting no cover, while Ruby just sat on the inside getting cover and saving ground. Yanworth must have run an extra furlong there
