How much Alcohol do we consume a week?

Celibate me Ive probally had one or two drinks all year and its usally JD never been a drinker, dabbled with it in my teenage years a handful of times , yeah the buzz is good for what like half hour then you feel sick and the hangover the next morning was awful. Who knows maybe if missed it completely what the attraction is but hey ho.

The old cliche of I can have a good night out withought drinking is true for me so I dont need to spend half my wedge consuming alcohol all night, Im just a sensible boring cnunt.

I was just rooting in one of the kitchen cupboards and I found a dusty, but unopened bottle of Archers in there. Frig knows how long it's been there, must have been given to the wife one Christmas.

Not quite Blademan levels but could quite often do 30 odd pints a week. Spend most lunch times in the pub which is usually 2-3 pints and then weekends could be any number.

Average price where we live is about £2.60. It really isn't that hard to get up for work after 10-12 pints , being a bricklayer it's worn off by snap time. I don't drink 15 every night I may do the odd night but that's a few too many for a school night. I'm in bangladesh at the minute resorting to drinking our own vodka and gin in the hotel lobby because everywhere where you can get a drink shuts at 11.30. Wouldn't want to live like this haha

No i go home for shower and tea 1st then out, normally till 12.30. Not every single night though.

This isn't he first time this thread has been done but I still get surprised at the levels being mentioned.

I don't think I know anyone who regularly drinks anything close to these amounts.

I've stopped drinking mid-week (with the exception of work functions and the like) and it's remarkable how good I'm feeling come Friday.

Not sure how anyone (other than Andy Fordham) could do 10 pints a night and hold down a regular job...

Only ever drank once in my life back when I was 15. I had a couple of sips of cider round a friends and then had my cup downed by someone else!

Not got anything against drinking per-se but I hate the thought of not being in-control of myself, I am scared what I would get up to or say without a filter

I don't mind not drinking through the week but always want to do it at weekends. Could easily drink 15-20 beers in a weekend with a bit of red wine thrown in for good measure, only have 6 beers in the fridge today which won't be enough.
