what do we think of this section this season?

obviously we had a few leave it, but with the newcomers (us, being voted the best fans in l1 section) and the ever dreaded MASS of Bristol fans, who were voted one of the WORST fans in L1, it is a big change and much more activity from what ive gathered!

also mk dons, but there not really that active now that active poster of theres has gone!

so yeah, what are ur opinions? have we changed it for the better or worse?

to note as well, some relegated clubs have come! have they changed it?

also, there's one more factor we should note, Rotherham fans won't be with us next season :D

but, yeah, seriously, what are your opinions on individual fansets, and has it been changed for the better or worse?

finally from me, if you can be arsed (Which i fucking hope you can after i've typed out this fat post), would you rank the fanbases of this forum in order?

so for example:

1) middlesbrough
2) leeds
3) pne

etc etc

enjoy your night fella,s, hope yours teams win EXEPCT BIRMINGHAM

We've lost all the Johnny come latelys' and are back to our normal numbers. I like to think we're generally a decent bunch but it did get a bit silly last season.
Some posters on here are genuinely entertaining and (it goes without saying) the Lillywhites are top class!
Walkley, HertsWolf along with Rammy are very good. :2thumb:

It was really busy over the summer but since the season started I don't think it's much different from last season. The new guys who have come up from L1 have added something to the forum, but then equally we lost some really good posters, especially to the Prem.

Yeh wtf happened to him?

Has he maybe given up on MK Dons and is now a Luton supporter?

Or did he follow the call, and ship out to Syria as a jihadi bride?

Are we ranking by quality of bus station?
If so:
1) Preston
2) Birmingham
3) Wolverhampton
4) Ayr

The new bus station in Bracknell is superior to all of the above. Just a shame it's in Bracknell.

I really should post in here more often, but I don't really know enough about other Championship teams, and very few people actually give a fuck about Burnley, so I find myself with little to contribute.

I stopped posting so much, mainly because the other city fans annoyed me, but partly because I just stopped going on any forums

I post less now than I used to do. The forum in general has gone downhill which is a shame.

A few reasons, but ones I'd rather not go into too much (in fear of being hung from the nearest tree ) I just enjoyed it more a year ago or so more than I currently do.

1FF as a whole or just the Championship section?

I don't really use the rest of the forum, I feel it has got really cliquey really quickly since we moved over.

I also have no other Forest fans in this forum to interact with, when once upon a time there were a good 7 or 8 of us.

The new boys have helped, there are a lot of them and its helped the Championship forum.

This forum is far less cliquey than TFF was

Really liked the League 1 section last season. Good banter/discussion with the Swindon/PNE/MK Dons lot and most teams were represented. This section of the forum is a bit of an echo chamber in comparison.

Never understood why the Championship section is so quiet on here, second best division with a lot of well supported clubs.

Strange to think that the likes of Walkley and M-Dogg are basically the only representatives of their clubs, Kev and Magic seem to be the only Leeds fans that post in threads that aren't about away attendances too.

I like the Champ section, it's the only reason I come here. Not a fan of the rest of the forum.
I admit I'm surprised to hear you say that. I thought you were actually posting more this season.
I think the League 1 forum two seasons ago was great and I didn't like it in the Championship forum last season. I was pleased when a mass of Bristol City, Preston and MK Dons fans came up during the summer.
For one, we would not get any information about the Ashton Gate rebuild without them being here, and there is little I now don't know about how shit Blackpool are and how popular the Oystons in the Ribble Valley.

We seemed to gain little from the clubs coming down, except a few fairly tolerant QPR fans. For me, this listing is difficult because there's been great stuff from the fans of almost every club. It was tempting to state the first seven because the remainder are fairly equal. There's not a single group - or person - that I wish wasn't here in this forum. And I just look forward to welcoming Jase next season.

So to take the original post seriously my ranking of this division by the quality of their fans:
1) Bristol City. I like these cheerful Gasheads.
2) Preston
3) Brum. Like the banter with Trev and the other one. Forget his name.
4) Brentford
5) Derby
6) Reading
7) Sheff Weds. Yeh he's often a c*** but he's our c***.
8) QPR
9) Charlton
10) Sheff Utd. Oh wait, you're not in this division...
11) Huddersfield
12) Forest
13) Ipswich
14) Leeds. Use to be very vocal the Leeds fans, but now quiet although there are loads of them. It's like they've lost the will to live.
15) Huddersfield

Sorry but fairly invisible are Brighton, Cardiff, Bro, Hull, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Championship strugglers Fulham.
Where have Rotherham gone? There used to be a good bunch of them here.

Nothing is the same without ScumArmy and SERNWA, oh and that strange fella who had the unfortunate incident with the salad cart at Harvesters.

Those were the days.

A subset of this would be who do we want to see in the Championship next season, other than Jase?

I'd be first in line to welcome bluebee and other Chelsea supporters in to this forum. Sadly, I think they will sack Mourinho and appoint Rafa Benitez's wife and they will stay up.

From La Liga 1, it would be good to see the Gillingham and Coventry fans up here: good crowd and just as deluded as the Bristol City lads were.

Other than that - but a tiny bit unlikely - would be to see either Vale or Crewe promoted just to see the banter. Or maybe Bradford because then we would get some fucking huge threads on why Bradford's support - both home and away - is better than Leeds if you have a mileage-based, calorie-weighted, algorithm approach and take the per person figures and population density of the Leeds and Bradford areas and take into account the number of people who are women, babies, postmen, Liverpool supporters in each city.
