. We’re absolutely going down.

Maybe that won’t be a bad thing, these lot might just sell up then
Lets hope not -- Because it would be a terrible thing. I really don't want to go back to watching us in the fourth division.

Good job that stand is only temporary, you won't need it in League Two.

Anyway, guaranteed you'll win on Boxing Day

But we have to score to win, currently I get excited with a throw in midway in the opponents half..

Rumours at our end of Kevin Nolan in as manager and Colin Calderwood back as director of football. Very meh if so but we need to do something quickly.

That would be a very poor appointment for Northampton.

Not directly transferrable but he did a great job coaching under Moyes the last 4 years

He did ok with us during his short spell in early 2016, made us difficult to beat and got a bounce out of our squad before getting fed up with our then owners who basically binned him off suddenly - They said he was still registered as a player but not as manager, after he had a go at them. Of Course he was basically never seen again.

Got a bit too pissed at the end of season party and told two youngsters they were both shit as well, one was Scott Kashket who ended up at Wycombe and scoring against us the following season just to rub it in.

Good judge of talent with his view of Kashket. One of the worst forwards I've ever seen. His only goal for us was a fluke which sums his time here up very well.

Hopefully you appoint him. I really don't want him at Rovers.

Shola Ameobi's Notts County
Nolan was a weird one at Notts, on paper it was fairly miraculous what he did taking on a side that had lost about 10 in a row under Sheridan and taking us to the playoffs - but then he followed that up with one of the weirdest starts to a season ever and what looked like a premature sacking to some was rightfully deserved in my opinion.

I think you’d characterise him as a bit old school and probably one for a crisis that can ruffle feathers or win people over in the squad appropriately but he didn’t ever seem like a manager who had/has a long-term plan. He’s got some good experience working as an assistant in recent years though so maybe he’ll be a more refined version of himself.

Colin coming back is good because we had a lot of success with him in the coaching unit... I am fed up of watching hoof ball year in and year out, and it sounds like Eaves is going to get used to seeing the ball come up to him through the air.

Latest news / rumour coming out of Rovers after we could not get a work permit for Wimmer. Is the Brighton U18 coach Inigo Calderon is set to be named our manager tomorrow. Not sure if he's up to Third Div/ First team but Brighton fans recon he's a great coach.

No one really knows if Nolan would be any good or not to be fair do they?

Cambridge fan saying he wouldn’t be a good appointment but Monk’s win percentage is 21% and Monk is an established manager so goes to show it’s a gamble.

Interesting viewpoints from the Orient/County fans, sounds like a mixed bag at both

I fancy Nolan to do ok tbh. He must have learnt a lot, has great connections and is a proper leader on/off the pitch.

I see Rovers are set to appoint Inigo Calderon as manager by the looks of it? Two struggling sides and we’ve both gone for different directions which will be interesting. Happy with it?

Fairly I guess. Bit of a gamble but it’s certainly more exciting than the usual names that get branded about

Garry Monk, lovely fella but sadly not a very good manager.

It’s time m, in fact it’s past time and he should be sacked tonight. No organisation, no fight, terrible recruitment and we are sleepwalking to relegation.

MONK OUT!

I think Fergie is due one of his 18-month sabbaticals, but as far as Evans, I believe the owner has said that he will have money to spunk up the wall in Jan.

So another 97 players coming in then?

There's been no indication that the Chairman has lost patience as yet.

Bearing in mind we are probably paying Liam Richardson, maybe he doesn't feel he can pay for 3 managers and all their staff, so is resisting the temptation to pull the trigger.

What is known is that we hope to get 3 in and 3 out and there's no doubt we need some better players to get out of this rut.

We need some characters to fire up the players we already have, it's not a poor squad, we have some talented individuals but they all seem a bit gutless TBH.

Possibly we need a younger coach to come in who is more understanding of modern players and can relate to them better than Evans and Raynor.
We have Joe Scarz who is working in between the youngsters and the 1st team squad but maybe we need someone else to shake things up in training and attitude.

Match days are terrible ATM many season ticket holders don't bother, which means there's very little atmosphere and the crowd are waiting for something to happen on the pitch to spark them into life.

It's a chicken and egg situation, in the old days the crowd sparked the team but now everyone is too pissed off to bother.

Yesterday, Stockport were so much better than us that it's hard for home fans to take.
If they had any decent forwards (Barry apart) they would have been going home on the back of a 1 - 4 scoreline.

We need some changes but I doubt it will be Evans leaving, he will just change 3 or 4 players instead.

actually it seems from the Posh forum that few are calling for Ferguson's head right now, recognising that he's been dealt a poor hand in terms of players being sold, and questioning whether anyone else would do better with the players they have.

Of course it's impossible to say how representative a few posters on a forum are of the fanbase as a whole, but it seems that any "Ferguson out" sentiments are far from unanimous.

Your playing style is far too direct. And I'm not one for saying everything should be passed around the back etc, I like to see it mixed up but your style is genuinely just big high balls and crosses. There's not many players that enjoy or excel playing that way now in league football, it didn't seem to suit your players, it doesn't suit many players now.
