From afar i don’t really see what Neil Harris has done wrong to leave?
If i were cambridge and both parties swallowed their pride it would work well, for me he’s a good record.
It's not that he left for Millwall, it was the way he did it. Taking charge of the team after accepting the job a few days earlier, and then having a completely shameful go at a local journalist (fan and volunteer at the club as well etc) after the match for no reason, then immediately buggering off. After weeks before giving a big spiel about his connection to Cambridge and all that, then not even giving a mention to us until weeks later.
All it would have taken was a "I can't say no, and I'm sorry for leaving you in the shit before the derby, thank you for the opportunity".
Anyway, without the emotion of it all, I'd back Harris more than Monk at this point, but I doubt either party would have the appetite after earlier this year.
