Is this the way to (Amarillo) relegation?

Indeed. We do need to tie certain players down that we already have, Korey should be top of that list IMHO.
Freeman's another that's OOC at the end of next season.

Not if he's OOC they won't! ;)
Get him and Korey signed up City.
Hang on, LF signed in June 2014, so he's got another year, DUH! :ffs:

I've got us down for 19 further points giving us a total of 53. That should be easily enough.
How about you fellow reds? What about your own teams supporters of others?

I think 45+ will guarantee safety, so I'd be delighted if we ended up on that point tally!

Bolton showing some fight but seems all over for Charlton.

A bit rose tinted? Tried not to be TBH.
Think it's pretty fair. It's no secret that I'm a 'glass half empty' kind of guy towards City as much as I love them, but even I'll admit I've been impressed in recent weeks with the way we've adapted to this division and sorted out our defensive fragilities.

50 points would be fantastic given we were on 21 after 26. Finish this season with a bit of momentum and carry it into the next one, like we did last season.

Korey should be our highest paid player. Absolutely fantastic midfielder and should pop up with more goals now Johnson has pushed him forward a bit. He is crucial to us.

Agreed. Great player!
We will do well to hold on to him in all honesty, he can do it all. Hopefully, a new contract and the arm band will help.

We could get a 1ff side together and we'll beat Charlton. Never seen such a toothless bunch of c*** in my life.

It's not to do with the team at your place Bobbin, we all know that mate.
Sad state of affairs but you'm gone now WTGR. Get shot and come back stronger eh!

Thank god we got some wins under Lee Carsley earlier in the season as we have looked extremely shit for a fair while now. I wouldn't fancy us to get a result against any of the bottom sides at the moment.

We've got enough to stay up hopefully, a couple more lucky results and we should be fine.

Looks like the whole team and management have just given up though. Smith's tactics and choices in team since he joined have been terrible. Arguably things were better under Dijkhuizen, though he had a better team to work with.

The recruitment this season has been an absolute joke, only Colin can reasonably be called a success. We've given most of the new signings long contracts, and we'll struggle to shift them till they are up at this rate. They might come good, but the signs aren't good at all at the moment.

Hopefully there is some major rebuilding in the summer, I don't doubt we have got very good deals on the outgoing players, but we've left ourselves with arguably the worst squad in the division + Alan Judge.

Looks as if the bottom 3 are cut adrift a fair bit now, with MK Dons being the only side possibly being caught.

Looking at the bottom 3 as it stands it's hard to see any of them winning enough games to climb out of it, Charlton look out of it at the minute, Bolton have improved but have probably left too much to do and a lack of quality will be their undoing. Rotherham are the only side I could possibly see escaping but will depend on their home form and wether or not Warnock can get them going.

If we got relegated this season it would serve our board / management team right for thinking we could coast to the end of the season.

It's been a really strange season for Brentford, I don't think you're in any immediate danger of relegation this season but clearly this new way of management you have is not working all that well.

However in all fairness you have lost a lot of your top performers from last season, in Andre Gray, Tarkowsi, Jota and Dougaraga.

I think Dean Smith will turn out to be a good appointment but this summer will be key or I can see next season being a massive struggle.

We were using the same way of management last season (largely) I just think this season shows when it goes well it goes amazingly, when it goes wrong it goes terribly.

I have no doubt long term this is going to be a much better way to run the club, but short term we're in a complete and utter mess, from top to bottom.

When does the work start on the new Brentford stadium and when will it be complete? That will make a big difference to your finances I should think.

The underlying problem is absolutely the way the club is being run but these 'professional' footballers have to start shouldering some of the blame. There is no excuse for the quite frankly - disgraceful performances that they are serving up to the fans every week. They have all given up already and they really don't care and that is inexcusable.

Believe you lot are running free coaches up on Tuesday, how many fans do you reckon will be coming cha?

Yeah that's right, some pathetic olive branch attempt probably. Convenient how they choose a Tuesday night game in Lancashire when they know that no sod will go anyway. Honestly, I'd be amazed if we even touch 300.

Waiting on the CPO appeal result and then we are good to go after that I think. Taking ages though, we got planning permission in December 2013!
