Is this the way to (Amarillo) relegation?

Our squad is far better than what the league table suggests and we've been near bottom all season for one reason, Neil Redfearn.

Under Evans and Warnock, two proper quality managers our record is 13 games, 5 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses, hardly relegation form.

To be fair every fans says they deserve to be much higher in the league than they actually are. I think we'd be much higher in the league if we didn't sell Afobe, Sako, Stearman etc and didn't have a shit manager in charge. It's all if's and but's.

It Warnock can keep up that form then fair play, you would deserve to stay up, but it's a little early to be proclaiming you're already staying up (as you did earlier in this thread). Still a long way to go.

Also, this is the Championship...judging people on 3 games is a bit ridiculous when you have odd results. We've picked up 6 points from 2 games but even if we win again on Saturday, it would only be 3 games back where we were absolutely embarrassed at Brighton. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Rotherham lost their next three.

I'm judging Warnock over 6 games, a good point against Birmingham, two close defeats at Burnley and Reading and 3 brilliant wins in a row, with Redfearn we'd be dead and buried.

We went unbeaten in our first six games yet Rosler was out the door by mid-October...just be careful with your bravado (not that you will be) because it could all go wrong in the space of two or three games. Fine margins in this division...

Rotherham look to have the hardest run in of the relegation threatened sides, so could just as easily get sucked down again once this mini run of form is over.
I'm not sure Rotherham's run in is quite as hard as it looks. Firstly, the graphic I posted starts with last night's game so that's one fewer tough one left. Also, one of the their other 'hard' games is against Blackburn, who are rated as one the top six teams in the league, but certainly as good as the promotion contenders. They also have a few games near the end of the season against midtable teams who won't have much to play for.

Every game in April is very winnable, especially the two six pointers against Bristol City and Mkat.

We'll probably not win again until Leeds at home but I said a few weeks ago our form would pick up with everybody fit and it has, just a case of pointing out that 'I told you so' to those who ridiculed me.

As will we when Lee Frecklington, Jerome Thomas, Leon Best, Stephen Kelly and Matt Derbyshire are plying their trade in League One :)

Not sure I'd say beating us is a brilliant win, we are a pretty terrible side that rolls over as soon as a side even remotely gets up and at us. 8 defeats in 11 for us, we are dropping like a stone at the moment. Beating Wednesday and Boro back to back is impressive though, fair play.

Really?

He's toss, Steve Evans' signings are keeping us up.

Just a hunch at minute but can see Warnock till the end of the season to keep us up, we gave him his chance in football after all.

Tony Stewart has saved our season, Neil Warnock's Red and White Army!!!!

Our squad when it's fully fit is probably on a par with yours but your reyt with what you say cos you're fucking toss unall.

No way in earth we'll be relegated now.

This is all jealousy, you've still got that cockney gerbil as your boss and we've got the great Neil Warnock.

Not a hope in hell any of those would play as low as League one now.
Well I know I wouldn't want any of them, and we're shite (and 15th) so don't see why anyone above us would want them. Plus they're all getting on a bit so I don't know what you mean by 'now'.

Steve Evans and most mid to lower table sides could do with Lee Frecklington, it's no coincedence 8 of or 10 wins have come with him on the pitch (he's only played 17 and lost 7). Massively underrated player, purely cos he plays for an unfashionable side like Rotherham.

Well that's all five players covered.

Jerome Thomas - Played 3 won 2.
Stephen Kelly - Played 5 won 5.
Leon Best - Played 6 won 4.

Think it's fair to say Frecklington, Kelly, Best and Thomas are big players for us and instrumental in how we play, can't argue with facts and this was my point, we get points when these play.

Matt Derbyshire - Played 26 (not all starts) won 6 and scored 6.

Goals to minutes on the pitch, I'd hazard he's at 1 in 3. I dare say he'd have scored more given the amount of time on the pitch he deserved and didn't get under Redfearn.

I could judge em on the rest of the careers where they've all spent decent amounts of time in the Premiership but I'll only judge em in a Rotherham shirt to be fair.

Mock all you want I'd sooner get results with these (who we signed for free) than spunk millions on players that are only 9 points infront of a team full of low end championship players.

Yeah we famously spunk millions . And personally I'd rather spend a couple of million and be safe than in the relegation zone.

Chris Wood for a start...

You're not safe though.
The same Chris Wood who's been injured half the season  If I was like you I'd say "well if Wood had been fit we'd be top 6" so that argument holds no water.

There's not a chance in hell we'll go down either.

He's only scored two more than the 'shite' Derbsyhire in a similar amount of games and he cost £3m, i know who I'd rather have.

Course there is, 9 point gap with 30/33 points to play for.

We're 250/1 with Skybet so I suppose you'll be investing...

You don't actually believe we could go down though so I know you won't.

SERNWA is making me prefer MK Dons to stay up at Rotherham's expense. What a horrible thing to have done to me...

A good traditional league club like Rotherham and the scum of a club which is Mkat Dons, not even a competetion as to who you should want to stay up mate.

Well normally it shouldn't but you're doing a darn fine job of ensuring that it is!
