We're 250/1 with Skybet so I suppose you'll be investing...

You don't actually believe we could go down though so I know you won't.

No chance of Leeds going down with Evans in charge, his motivation skills are top notch for his teams to perform in big matches similar to Warnock which is the reason why i think we will stay up now aswel.

Keep em guessing, for way they speak about Evans they don't deserve him.

You make out that Evans is like the Pep Guardiola of the Championship.

Steve Evans is good at the small fish in a big pond mentality. Leeds are a huge club at this level, I'm sure they wont lose much sleep if he goes. Steve Evans should consider himself damn well lucky he is at a club of that stature.

Leeds haven't been in the Premiership for 11/12 years, they get smaller and smaller each year, they should be honoured a manager with the CV Evans has got would manage them.

Honoured that a fraud who managed a couple of promotions with Crawley Town and Rotherham? Yeah I bet they thank god every night that they have Steve Evans in charge.

Even without being in the prem for over a decade, Leeds are still one of the biggest clubs in the country.

Funny you say that about Evans comparison to Pep but at the same time your trying to make out that Leeds are like Bayern Munich. Evans took us to the championship, Leeds are now a championship club so he deserves to be there or at least have a chance plain and simple, especially with all the other numpties who have tried and failed like Hockaday, Redfearn, Venables, Gray and Rosler.

Get back to school.

Evans' record in management puts every other Leeds manager for the last couple of seasons records to shame, they are lucky!!

Leeds are supported well, that's about it. Money talks nowdays and the amount of fans you have count for nothing. Leeds can't compete with the likes of Bournemouth, says it all.

I don't often agree with SERNWA but he's right here, why should Leeds have a better manager than Evans?

They were a huge club, yes . But they're nothing more than a well supported Championship club now.

Evans' previous success has come under a large budget (bar last season). Crawley although a small club, he was spending a lot of money to fund his promotion. You could say the same about Rotherham in L2/L1. It's impressive don't get me wrong, but if you're lucky enough to spend your way to promotion, it can cover up your short comings as a manager (our own Kenny Jackett is a good example of that).

I'll admit though my view of Evans will always be tainted, he could win the Champions League and I'll still think of him as the fat obnoxious fraud who should have no place in football ;)

Can't remember the thread but Hertswolf posted the budgets in that promotion winning season for the whole of league one and we weren't even in the top 10. Kind of blows that theory of yours out of the water.

Mark is bang on. He's the right man for a small club...it's not being cocky...we know what we are and have been for a decade now but there's still a belief that we should be asking for more than shite seasons year on year. Evans touts out our best talent to the prem, celebrates away draws like we've won the league and his style of management is that to motivate clubs with average players and make them competitive. There's nothing wrong with that if you're a small club with the ambition to stay alive in the championship. We want to progress for once in the last ten years. I don't think he's the man for that in this league. Plus he's actively lied recently to please fans and had to eat humble pie.

I would have no concerns if he were to leave in the morning. I can see why Rotherham fans like him but I think he fits better there with the culture than here.

Thanks very fucking much.

All the horrendous memories have come flooding back this morning - first round of the fa cup, the JPT etc. I shudder.

Add the fact that we're going to be in a league below Burton Albion, fuck sake.

Sat in late October sun looking at the papers and seeing who's won their final FA Cup qualifier ahead of the draw. Realising you're no more than a footnote on sky sports.....

Planning your holidays more stringently as you no longer get international weekends free and knowing, just knowing you'll be making a trip to Boundary Park at some point in the season and it being a fucking Tuesday in late January and it's snowed off.

Went to Oldham twice in a week in winter back in 09/10. League and cup. Thankfully we won both.

Can't wait for Burton away next season, meant to be a quality away day. Also, Burton vs Villa and Burton vs Derby are a hilarious thought.

If Burton get promoted that'll be three times in four seasons we'll make our league debut against a club (previous Yeovil and MK Dons).

Strange when we're probably still above our natural level that we can play so many teams for the first time.

All still to play.

A board who are hell bent on destroying the club and a clueless prick of a manager.

Bye everyone.

It's going to be so fucking odd. No doubt Burton will try to create a rivalry, with the club whose fans adore them.

Unless his negativity screws it up! Only won 1 in their last 5!

I think everyone below them bar Wigan have been in similar form though.
