Nope this Saturday I'll be at the Paddy v bullshit clients match taking place at my work. A repeat fixture that never moves itself for the Sky cameras & unfortunately never gets called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

There may even be some Tolfrey-esque antics at the end if they piss me off enough!

Shame. Would've been good to put a face to the name.

Still in our hands, not that it matters given how we've played in recent games.

Keen to get in on the non-league hooliganism, and left unsupervised for the weekend, I'm going to attend the Hellenic Premier clash between Kidlington and Oxford City Nomads. Kidlington are eight points off the top but have two games in hand on titans Highmoor Ibis, so there really is no room for error against the midtable Nomads (who, frustratingly, have a home ground. They actually play at the same place as Oxford City, and have pretty much the same badge, so they are just a shit version of City with an inaccurate suffix).

Ryan Curtin is the one to watch, with 19 goals already this season.

As the old Kidlingtonian motto goes "Salire ad piscis hircorum".

Finger lickin' good.

Edit: Is there a better thread for this? I don't know my non-leagues.
This is next weekend. Fs.

Wheels back on? Haha. Thank you Kingston.

Could have done you an even bigger favour but Margate came back from 3:1 down when we were down to 10 men.

Former K hitman Ryan fucking Moss with the equaliser for Margate, of course.

Fingate still in the play-off mix!
Hendon still with an outside chance of the title?

Late-season collapse of last season is starting to rear its ugly head once more... The rotating door of the central main striker keeps turning, just like last season too.

Looking a little better for us after Saturday's win over Bury, who I have to say were pretty dreadful. They even made us look quite good - which is no mean feat these days.

George Purcell got a brace which should help confidence going into Stage 2 of our vital week - home to Leatherhead tomorrow, then away to Witham on Saturday for Stage 3. With a fair wind we'll be above the dreaded dotted line in Paddy's next league table kaleidoscope.
(Famous last words ...)

And yes - Bognor !!

Lost 2-1 to a last minute goal. So a four defeat of the season

Dulwich 1 VCD 2

Another disastrous performance against a mediocre VCD side. VCD to their credit scored 2 excellent goals - the first will be a goal of the season contender - but we simply have to beat teams like this if we're gonna make the playoffs. There's now a real danger that having been in title contention a couple of months ago, we could miss out on the play-offs again.
Welcome to the forum.

Bad day for Hornchurch today. While the Burgess Hill went marching on with a 3-0 win.

Dulwich 1 VCD 2.

Another abysmal result and poor performance. We really are looking like we might throw it all away, just like last season. Very disheartening stuff. VCD are not a great side, but they did score 2 great goals - the first must be a goal of the season contender. It's a shame that another big crowd - 1324 - had to watch that.

Just a 1-1 draw for us at Harrow, but it looks fabulous next to the results of everyone else at the top. I'll take it!

Not looking good is it? At least this time around there's a bigger points cushion, but i don't like the stumbling into playoffs when other teams are in full flow.

Popped over to Champion Hill, poor result for Hamlet. I will be honest, I missed both VCD goals, but Dulwich should've seen the game off in the first half. Poor mistakes cost them.

Saying that, I will go back to Champion Hill. Cracking little club.

We've had our little mutual love-in with Hamlet for a few years now. I wonder if they'd mind us taking the title at their place in April? Game's already all-ticket!

Bad day for Hornchurch today.

Indeed. Can someone give me the odds on VCD winning at Dulwich, Harrow Boro getting a point v Maidstone, and Hornchurch letting in a goal in the last 5 mins v 10 men? Actually the last of that treble is odds-on so maybe not too much of a money maker.

Hey ho - onto Canvey on Tuesday and DHFC on Saturday to kick-start our run to the playoffs.

Surely they can't lose to Redhill? They looked utterly hopeless when I saw Worthing play them in Decenber.
