Went to my first Dulwich game for 2 months yesterday! A great team performance and thoroughly deserved win against Bognor. Nyren Clunis and Ethan Pinnock were both absolutely magnificent (again!). We'll do very well to hold on to them next season but they seem committed to Dulwich having come up through the youth team; both should be playing at higher level.

I've no idea what happened to Dulwich during Feb and March or why we seemingly completely imploded, but it certainly seems we've come out of that firing on all cylinders. If we play like today for the rest of the season we should reach and hopefully win the play-offs, but if we revert to the form that saw us take 1 point from 3 games against the bottom 3 in February we've no chance. We consistently seem to throw things away in the last third of the season; last year I think we only won 1 of our last 13 games and still finished 4th. Hopefully we can press on and win our remaining games.

Interesting that we've resigned Kenny Beaney who I've always viewed as a very useful player. Also got Dipo Akinyemi on loan from Stevenage - he's a real handful and has scored 4 in 3 games for us. Roman Michael-Persil has arrived from Met Plod and also looks an excellent acquisition.

Looks like it's the Bognor wheels falling off now. Beat them 2-1 last night to keep up the play off charge! Seems we are upping our games against teams above us now, which should serve us well if we make the top 5

It's probably Bognors' legs that have fallen off after playing 20 games in a week.

INAUGURAL TURVEY SUPER CUP WORLD CHAMPIONS!

Forget the World Cup, Premier League, Champions League & the likes. This is what really matters! Kingstonian 5-0 Faversham Town. This will go down in footballing folk law history.

Or not.

But still, yay! A trophy! Now onwards to the play offs!

Sure you would swap it for 6/6 against Farcebrough to all but relegate them!

Yes, Bognor are tiring but they managed to win 4-0 at Burgess Hill so it looks likely they'll qualify for the play-offs. Looks to me like 2 of 3 from Tonbridge, Dulwich and Kingstonian fo the remaining slots.

We came to the first pub, the strangely named Burn Bullock but this was closed and fenced off, however there was another pub across the road but this was closed down too. We then saw another pub sign at the other end of the cricket green, The Queens Head but as we got nearer we saw that this pub was closed and boarded up too. We then decided to walk the 10 minutes to the ground but on the way came across a thai restaurant which also had a public bar, so we nipped in there for a couple before making the short walk to the sports complex where Tooting & Mitcham play.

The Burn Bullock was named after former Surrey cricketer who was landlord at the pub in the 40s/50s. It closed down a few years ago and the current owner has been forced by the council to restore it before it falls down. Same bloke owns the White Hart opposite and put it up for auction a few weeks back. The Queens Head (my local) closed down about a month ago after Shepherd Neame couldn't find a tenant. It's now up for sale.

As recently as 8 years ago, there were 4 pubs overlooking the cricket green - now there are none.

Having failed to beat Lewes and Brentwood recently we really need all three points from this one. No real point in beating Hampton and Bognor if you can't beat relegation fodder.

We don't. Getting two points from three fixtures (two of them at home) against relegated/relegation threatened teams is unforgivable. It wasn't a tough run in but we've fucked it.

Fuck sake K`s.

Is what will be written on my gravestone.

It's just unfathomable how we can smash Hampton & Bognor but not beat Lewes or Farnborough. Looks like we've just settled for the Turvey Cup & post that have taken our foot off the gas.

Yep. You've done us a big favour there! But I share your frustrations. Dulwich would be 20th in the league if only our results against teams in the bottom 8 counted, but we'd be top of the table if only results against the top half teams counted! Absolutely unfathomable! Worryingly, our final 3 games are all against sides in the bottom 5, so there's hope for you K's fans yet!!! We've also lost our best 2 attacking players, Nryen and Dipo to injury. Hopefully Dipo will be back for Saturday but Nyren's probably gone for the rest of the season which is absolutlely gutting!

Once again... FUCK SAKE K'S!

Lost by the only goal of the game to Staines Town at home to end our play off hopes. Another year of Isthmian Premier fun times awaits... with that in mind I do hope our chocolate & pink neighbours Corinthian-Casuals can hold on to their play off spot & win the thing to come up to this league.

Are Farceborough definitely relegated due to their general farceness even if they don't finish in the bottom 4?

Please beat Farnborough on Tuesday. You must.

Correct. It's going to be tight as to whether it's double relegation or not. It would be incredible banter if it happens and hopefully it might be the final nail in the coffin to make Spencer give up.

You mean a double relegation to the Combined Counties League?
That ridiculous stand they built will look great at that level!

The strange think is that for much of the season we were picking up good point against the uncompetitive sides and struggling against the top teams. Oh well, all over now  Good luck in the playoffs (assuming you manage to hold off Enfield)!

Wouldn't hold out much hope of us beating Farnborough tbh. We seem to have given up.

Bognor could yet still win the league, you'd fancy them to beat Brentwood and Hendon whilst Hampton have a tricky home game vs. Enfield who will need to win to have any chance of making the playoffs. Interesting few days ahead.

I can only share the sentiments above too, I do hope Farnborough are double relegated.

Hampton will go up as champions, Bognor will pull it together for the play offs & Farnborough will get double relegated.

I'm usually good with my predictions when they don't involve the words 'Kingstonian' & 'champions' in connected terms.

Thanks Paddy! I think we'll get at least appoint at Needham Market, though they're fighting off potential relegation so it won't be easy.

Farnborough a certainly making fight of it and have made a few useful signings, including Terrell Forbes who was with us last year. They might just avoid the double relegation. I'm not sure if the fourth from bottom club will get relegated if Farnborough finish fifth from bottom. Any ideas?

I'd agree that Hampton will probably win the league and Bognor will probably be favourites to win the play-offs, but we have already beaten Bognor twice this season so we may have a psychological advantage over them. I was also wrong about Clunis and Dipo being injured for the rest of the season, so we'll hopefully be pretty much at full strength for the remaining games. An interesting last final week of the season awaits!

Farnborough will be relegated no matter what happens if they haven't paid off their creditors. How likely that is to happen I don't know.
