Indeed you will, on Thursday 20th July I believe. I've already added it to our fixtures page in keen anticipation.

Very unusual as it'll only be our 3rd home friendly in the last 3 years - we're more of an away friendly type of outfit. Since it's one of our earlier friendlies we may not have separated the wheat from the chaff (player wise) so we can probably expect anyone who can kick a ball to get a stint on the pitch.

Crikey. This is indeed a worry for our self esteem. But let's look at the maths here:

1. The chances of the Chins playing Ks in a PSF? Given the distance, the slight bad blood, and the non-traditionalness of this fixture, I'd give this a probability of 1 in a hundred. Call it 0.01
2. The chances of Riverside64 still being a secret lurker, and then posting ... I'd give that a probability of 1 in 10. Call it 0.1
3. The chances of this post not being wiped by the next failure of Onefootballforum's firewall (as my last 2 hilarious* posts were)? I'd give that a probability of 1 in 4. Call it 0.25

So the chances of all this happening and still being available to view next week are 0.01 x 0.1 x 0.25 = 0.00025 or 1 in 4000. We are truly blessed to be alive to witness this, and all the season's disappointments can now be put into a true perspective of our extraordinary recent fortune.

Which is a long-winded way of saying: Paddy - get your arse dahn to Essex, where Riverside64 will get you a beer and a voucher for a fake tan. Obviously I am far too elitist to countenance fraternisation with people from Su**ey.

On the transfer front we've lost George Wells to Slough Town & there's rumours about our old boss Alan Dowson, currently manager of Conference South's Hampton & Richmond Borough, lining up for striker Ryan Moss & our longest serving player/captain goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey. Damn we need to hold on to those two more than anyone else.
