Seriously Juve? Had to score on the last minutes. It was fun while it lasted our hope at Napoli getting this title.

Fantastic result for the neutral last night as Juventus' superb run of 15 straight wins was ended by a goalless draw at Bologna. This means that Napoli can get top spot back if they beat Milan on Monday.

Come on Napoli. Do it for us.

Sassuolo-Empoli

Sassuolo will face Empoli in 26th game week of Seria A. These teams are neighborhood in tournament table – Sassuolo takes 8th place and their encounters are on 9th place. Despite the championship will last for a long time yet teams are not afraid of flying out. On the other hand, it will be surprise if they play in Eurocups. Teams supervised 5 games synchronously: three times drew and two times were defeated. Fans wait for wins and only one team will bring them happiness. Sassuolo tied in last two games: firstly was home match with Palermo and the next was away match with Chievo. Sassuolo players showed combinational football and controlled the ball more than their opponents in both matches. The game style of the team includes good attacking football and lots of distant shots. Attacking and defensive game “on the second floor” is big advantage of Sassuolo players. Berardi often sends ball to penalty area and Sansone has good dribbling. They are going to play in wings.

Empoli players were unexpectedly defeated by outsider of the league Frosinone in home match (1-2). Empoli will play away with neighborhood in tournament table in bad mood. Mário Rui is main left defender and he won’t play in upcoming game because of disqualification. Empoli tries to play with short passes and to create chances controlling the ball. Headers isn’t advantage of the team and strong opponent can make use of it.

Let’s look at upcoming match according to bets on corners. Bookies set Sassuolo as favorite on corners. The odds on win is 1.62, the odds on draw is 6.6 and the odds on guests’ win is 3.05 (at 1xBet). In my opinion bet on Sassuolo win will be covered and even -1.5 handicap looks attractive (for odds 1,95).

Sassuolo was defeated on corners two times in previous 10 matches. And the team got wins even with such top teams as Napoli and Roma. Sassuolo won on corners in 8 of 12 matches at home (in last 6 matches they won 5 times). The exception is game against Bologna in which Sassuolo lost. The side took more than 7 corners during 6 last home games.

Empoli’s stats on corners in away games are depressing: 3 wins and 10 defeats. They won only once in last 10 matches. The team delivers 3.85 corners on average away with negative average difference of 2 corners.

To conclude both teams will try to win in upcoming match to make fans happy. Home side knows about their powerful skill of heading the ball and will try to use it. Corners are great way to realize chances. Thus I think that bet on Sassuolo is reasonable. For those who like risk I offer to bet on hosts with minus handicap.

Juve won at Sassuolo on Friday evening so that they can prepare for the Bayern game. Napoli can close the gap to 3 points if they win in Palermo tonight.

Roma look to have 3rd settled. If they beat Inter next week they'll be 8 points clear of them.

It doesn't seem to matter what Napoli do because it doesn't look like Juventus are ever going to lose again.

AC Milan performed a version of the Haka before their match on Thursday night  Very bizarre and cringeworthy at best

It was actors performing for a Nivea advert. Either way, very strange.

Back today from watching 3 Serie A games in 3 days. Started in Naples to watch Napoli destroy Bologna 6-0. Accidentally got tickets for the middle of Curva B, which was certainly a great experience.

Next day, 7 hour train to Genoa to watch them beat Inter 1-0. Have to say this was the best of the lot. Really great stadium, and their fans were fantastic. And then finally, quick train to Milan yesterday to watch AC draw against Carpi 0-0. One of the worst games I've ever watched in my life, and just based on that performance they are a mess.

Is it true there are no Italians involved in the Inter v Udinese game?

Curious to see how Alisson will do at Roma. He will have to effort to bench Szczensny but expect he at least get enough chances to it. It would be very nice to see him evoluting at Europe and finally have again a praiseworthy brazilian goalkeeper to admire.

Juventus just bought a nearly 29 year old Higuain for €94m.

Awful business.

I'm so disappointed by Pogba and by that greedy asshole of his agent (Raiola). I knew he would have left us sooner or later, but I tought he would have done this for ambitions, not for money. He could stay one more year and then move to a club where he could have aspired to win the Champions League, for example Real Madrid or Barcelona. Instead he goes to the club that has not believed in him four years ago, a club that, despite having a great history, currently can't be considered one of the top in Europe. I will always be proud to have had him in my team, but now I'm very disappointed.
Au revoir Paul, enjoy your disproportionate wage and enjoy playing the UEFA Europa League.

I wouldn't be too disappointed that the Frenchman is gone. This typ of players are simply football mercenaries and they don't identify themselves with the club they are playing for. Thank God you have the role model for the opposite type of football players in your team, Gigi Buffon!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for Juve in the new season. And even in the Champions League (as long as they don't play against German Teams ;) )

Juventus has done a great transfer market so far. We bought talented players. My concern is about how Mr. Allegri is going to put them on the pitch, what kind of tactic is going to use.
We've got Pjaca. Yes, a talented player, but I'm afraid he's gonna end up like Coman because we're still playing without wingers.
We've Pereyra, Hernanes, Lemina, Asamoah, Sturaro... Do we really need another central midfielder? I don't believe Marchisio and Khedira are going to be injured forever.

Tomorrow the league starts and our transfer market is still incomplete. In my opinion we absolutely need one more midfielder, because in that role we have a lot of players but they're all in poor physical conditions. Marchisio will stay out until november or maybe december, Khedira has an average of 3-4 injuries a year and the same goes for Asamoah. Sturaro also is injuried, while Pereyra will be probably sold to Watford. We can't risk to play the Champions League group stage with Hernanes in the starting line-up.

I am wondering if Allegri is thinking about change tactic. Maybe switching to a 3-4-3 or 4-4-2. We've lots of wingers and Cuadrado may be coming as well.

Not anymore it seems.

How do you rate him?

He's a very talented attacking player. He can play high in the pitch, wide or as playmaker but he lacks in cynicism. He has a good dribbling, though, so he can create many chances for his team.

Best skill: he can play in many positions on the pitch. Almost everywhere in midfield. He also played as wing-back in Juventus' 3-5-2.
Cons: lack cynicism. He doesn't score as many goals as he could.

The Serie A matches have a different "pace": they are more tactical and less physical intense. But he runs a lot and is a good athlete in good shape, so I think Pereyra will get used easily and quickly to the new league standards.

Would you like to see him playing for Watford?

Well I am sure he will only improve us - afterall its not often we get Argentine internationals from top European clubs!

We need some more attacking play and pace - of course our league is more physical but as you say if he is in good condition then that will help.

We had a couple of Spanish based players last season who looked out of their depth TBH so hope he can be different.

Only danger might be our fans will expect big things from him straight away I suspect so there will be pressure - and the first few games for us are against the top sides so we might be more defensive.
