Yeah seems a bit amateur and bland for me. It really needs more than one pundit giving opinions otherwise that person is just going to keep giving the same comments over and over again.

It feels more like an interrogation than a football goals show.

Bit embarrassing from ITV on the highlights show tonight they said let’s have a look at Wigan v Bristol City and instead cut to Plymouth v Peterborough before cutting away again after a bit when they realised the mistake. Actually drew my interest for a second thinking it had gone straight to L1.

The other thing that is bugging me with this show. Can they please change that fucking theme music. It sounds like something for a daytime chat show.

Just watched it again and it seems to stay clear of the real talking points and controversies of the games, The presenter is as bland as you can get and the detail is wrong, Just on my team the "expert " pundit mentioned last week what a great start to the season Dempsey had, 2 in 2, yet he had missed the first game of the season, only a small mistake but they should get their facts right, and then they said Morley scored last week to salvage a draw at Ipswich, , well that bugged me because he put Bolton 1-0 up so that is not salvaging a draw. I know I am just nit picking and finding fault but the show is too plasticated for me,

It was Rotherham v Reading they cocked up on and when they eventually sorted it out, the comments were all about how poor Reading were no mention of our part in pressing the mistakes they made.

Missing Colin Murray already, his relaxed style and jokey personality even had me watching the program when we lost.

The main thing is, you believed Colin Murray watched every game, even if he didn't. He knew about the clubs he was talking about and scoured the forums and social media to ensure he got the feelings of the fans. Even little things like joking about Dean Ashton being bald makes a difference to the casual viewer..

You know that Hugh Woozencroft and Jules Breach haven't and are just reading off their script. There's also no chemistry with the pundits at all. It couldn't be more wooden if they tried.

Let’s be honest - when we found out quest had lost it, we knew this would happen.

Doesn't sound too good if you rely on watching the show (and other ITV shows) on the Hub..

Presume there is some sort of replacement?

Good to see Oli Bell presenting the show last night. A pleasant surprise. He immediately looked more relaxed, knowledgeable and upbeat than the two previous presenters this season. As he would seeing as he’s someone who presents The Opening Show every Saturday morning on ITV for the horse racing and most of the big meetings he’s presenting in some form too. Hopefully he does a lot more of the EFL highlights this season.

I still had no wish to see a gushing old lady being lauded up on there for Watford however well deserved it was. Just keep to the matches please and leave the PR to some other programme..

No wonder we lost if they were doing a feature on us !

Presume it was something to do with the lady was has run our Junior Hornets section for decades encouraging young fans to come to games with their families which as you say is a very good thing ( although all clubs probably do that now )

Trouble is they probably get put off by the on pitch results!

It was. You've named a stand or an area after her. As you say, good on her but I'm not interested in that on a football results programme.

Agreed, I'd never seen him before but much more natural than the other presenters.

Back to the original presenter yesterday, not sure why they keep chopping and changing? But he’s so damn dull it’s unbelievable. I now just skip the chatty bits and the analysis, which is a shame as I loved it last season.

What do Sam Parkin and Dean Ashton add as well? I'm struggling to find anything. Get the likes of George Elek and his colleague (name escapes me) back on and have some actual analysis.

Yeah, I think they’re ok, but having both together isn’t very good. I agree George Elek and Ali Maxwell are both excellent and have genuine in-depth knowledge. Hope they’re on soon.

They don't discuss VAR not just because there isn't any but they hardly ever analyse anything controversial at all. Last episode they made a comment about a big controversial moment in a game then never showed it or discussed it. If Bland was an Olympic sport this show would win it hands down. Presenters who know so little they have to read from ipads all the time and even the pundits sound like they are reading a prepared speech. This is basically just a boring drawn out goals show interspersed with ads every 10 minutes, not unlike the way the BBC present the Super League show. An utter waste of space when you get much better reviews elsewhere.

its awful, all they had to do was copy what Quest had. Its that simple. Evidently Hugh Woozencroft is a respected broadcaster.

Its very obvious they don't really care about the product they are showing, ITV just wanted the viewers that Quest were getting, there's a reason why Quest's show was so well respected. I should imagine they have now lost more viewers then they would have liked to have gained.
