City does look a likely destination though I wouldn't be surprised if he took some time out

It'll be interesting to see whether City go after him.

City is a suicide destination for Klopp. He'll win something then get sacked. It's how they seem to run things at the moment.

I agree. Obviously this season being an exception, Klopp has proven he should manage at the highest level. If PSG get knocked out by Barca I can see Blanc getting sacked. He was rumoured to have his last chance against Chelsea. Klopp to PSG would be a much better move for his career.

I personally think he'd be a better fit at Liverpool. He'd improve on Rodgers for definite.

Dortmund say he's off at the end of the season.

If I was a Gooner I'd be delighted with this news....Wenger has been brilliant for Arsenal (first decade) but his time has come and what better manager to replace him than Mr Kloop.

Pellegrini looks off at the end of the season too but I get the feeling they have their heart set on Pep Guadiola.

I'll add Liverpool to the poll but I can't see him taking a backwards step from Dortmund.

He's going to Real Madrid & if Man City don't keep Pellegrini for the season to try for Pep in 2016 Ancelotti's going there. Nice try btw.

Wenger has earned the last two years of his contract to build a squad backed by significant resources, no chance he leaves now. Unfortunately I think Klopp and Arsenal will miss each other due to poor timing, it's unlikely Klopp will be out of management in two years time. That said if Pep takes another sabbatical after Bayern I'd love him in 2017, he'd be a good fit for us and I think may have even coached under Wenger briefly.

Don't know if he's a big enough name for Madrid tbh. They want managers who can guarantee trophies/command the respect from big names like Ronaldo.

I heard rumours Zidane might take over.

It's pretty much how all the top clubs work isn't it? There's not much time made for managers who don't win things, or at least don't look like they can win things. There's speculation over Ancelotti and he's still on course for a league and CL double.

I'd say Arsenal would be an ideal destination for Klopp (whenever Wenger leaves) whether he has another job between is to be seen. But given how they stuck with Wenger and how much time they've given him with relatively little sucess silverware wise lately Klopp would be allowed to build, develop and mould a squad to his play style.

If he goes to City I'll die a little inside.

To be so loyal to a club like Dortmund only to end up at that abomination would be a travesty.

He should wait until a club that's actually bigger than Dortmund, wait no, Villa, nope , umm, Leeds? comes along.

Hopefully this means we get Hummels in the summer.

Could have the opposite effect, new manager will want to steady the ship.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.

Shame, but cheers for all of your brilliance with BVB. Some will overlook just how brilliant of a manager he is based on a poor season this season (injuries and awful performances from Hummels, Weidenfeller, etc have been the biggest culprits). I would love for him to be Wenger's successor, but as mentioned above, it seems timing will prevent this from happening.

People underestimate Klopp's eccentricity. I can't see him managing a recently inflated big club like Manchester City or PSG (he's given an interview last season essentially claiming this). He wouldn't be a good fit at Real Madrid with the egos of the Galacticos. Weirdly, I think he'll end up in Serie A; relishing the challenge of reinvigorating a sleeping giant. Money affects him less than most in this industry.

Gundogan should be Liverpool's primary transfer target. He'd be immense in a midfield with Henderson, Coutinho, and an upgrade on Lucas.

Klopp wouldn't be an improvement on Blanc, so I don't think that'll happen.
Can see JK in the Premier league next season.

Stockport County.
Jesus, imagine going from Dortmund and the yellow wall to Man City and the Etihad with the atmosphere of a wet fart.

And I've said it before, and will say it again, Guardiola is United's in a few years. City can forget him.

The Klopp>Real, Ancelotti>City merry go round seems logical.

I think/would hope Klopp has more sense than to go to City.

I can't see Brenda Rodgers leaving Liverpool.

That only leaves Arsenal and I just don't see this summer being the time that Wenger calls it a day.

Where else is there? QPR? Newcastle?

I've seen Arsenal fans saying that we should terminate Wenger's contract in the summer (or make him a DOF - which he wouldn't go for) to sign Klopp. I'm as big of a Klopp supporter as there is on this forum, but that would be madness. Klopp couldn't earn CL despite a slew of injuries and poor form from some of his defenders this season. Wenger has been consistently doing just that for the past decade. Now that he seems as focused as ever, we should replace him with Klopp?
