Possibly - I get the feeling though that a lot of the loyalty shown by the Dortmund players is towards Klopp. He seems like a great man manager and someone who could inspire loyalty and respect in his players.

He took Mainz down. He burns players out with his style of play. I find it as entertaining as anyone when on top form. He won't succeed at a top club with pressure and players with ego. Klopp at PSG or City would be an absolute disaster.

He took Mainz down after leading them to their first season in the Bundesliga in club history and built the platform which has allowed for them to remain in the Buli for the past few seasons. This after being a ridiculously loyal servant as a player. He's seen as a hero to their supporters.

It's pretty much how all the top clubs work isn't it? There's not much time made for managers who don't win things, or at least don't look like they can win things. There's speculation over Ancelotti and he's still on course for a league and CL double.

Easier job for him I feel. Dortmund's problems have been well documentated this season, so it'd be nice for him to get a club where it's easier domestically. Of course there is expectation at PSG, but nowhere near what City's owners expect. The powers that be seem more lenient at PSG it would seem. What happens if he joins Man City after a terrible season with Dortmund, wins nothing in his first year, then gets sacked. A rebuilding job is needed at City too, which could test the owners patience.

I'd say he'd face tougher expectations at PSG than he would at City. PSG could win the treble this season and still dispose of their manager. I don't think you'd see that at City.

Blanc has done very well with PSG and has delivered trophies. And plays a good style of football.
Klopp is pretty much the same. Both unproven outside of their countries too.

After knocking out Chelsea, I'm not sure I want Blanc out. He's built a good thing and has been given time. This summer will see a lot of change (Lavezzi & Cavani out, possible world-class arrivals in Di Maria and Pogba). I wouldn't want a new guy at the helm taking care of that!
Reckon Klopp will take a few years off. Become a pundit for German TV or summat.

At city I think he'd need to have a season where they look like contenders 'til they finish line even if they don't win something. They wouldn't sack him for finishing empty handed, but probably would if he did a Moyes.
With PSG I think the expectation would be that he actually does win stuff immediately. Although the title race in France is close this year, it really shouldn't be with PSG on another level to the other clubs financially. The expectation for the club is to dominate at the domestic level and be a real force in Europe. This season they could probably achieve that in some regard if they go further in the CL. The trouble with the PSG job is that there's not much room for immediate improvement as the expectation is that they're already better than everyone in France and so they have to level up to Real, Barca, Bayern standards now which is a big ask.
At City they just need to either win something (anything in a first season) or finish better than this season, which would look a lot easier I'd say than doing what needs to be done at PSG.

For the record, I'm quite sure Klopp will win the league and some tinpot cup if he becomes PSG manager but taking on a new manager is a whole new strategy and this summer is just not the right time.

Those people certainly weren't me. Van Gaal has won the lot at an array of top clubs in different countries all over Europe. His CV is top drawer and three or four times that of Klopp's. His style of football is sustainable over a number of years and his fingerprints are all over the two best European sides in the last 10 years.

Klopp has yet to prove he's in the top bracket, I get the feeling he will have the opportunity in his next job (an opportunity he has earned with his overall success at Dortmund). I don't think it will end well.

Liverpool are a club I can see him at. It would be a very wise next step for him. Be a bit harsh on Rodgers though who is a bright young coach with some very good ideas behind his somewhat irritating bravado.

Why would he leave Dortmund for Liverpool? It's a massive step backwards.To leave a club the size of Dortmund he's going to want somewhere he can compete year in year out for trophies.

It's a non starter because they aren't after a manager at the moment anyway.
