I seem to remember a similar post from you when you came into this division from the championship and you were right, you did in fact only pass through

I might be wrong but haven't Donny still go a lot of players in their squad who was relegated from this division last season? If so they'll have to recruit well if they're gonna be challenging for another promotion.
They were too good to go down but the mentality wasn't there. Anyone worth their footballing salt would look at Rochdale, Fleetwood, even Rotherhams squad and see, objectively, our squad is vastly superior. Both off past achievements and current form.

I thought Fergie was the worst manager you've ever had?
False.

Paul Dickov was and still is, Ferguson was terrible last year and has admitted he failed miserably. The jury is out on his credentials atm

Sorry but thats a load of shit, if you get relegated in any division it means your not good enough for the full season, a team who is good enough to stop would eventually found their way out before 46 matches. As for the superior better squad than ours i beg to differ, especially if we sign Danny Ward to another contract who would be the best striker in division to start with. We have O'Donnell who was the best keeper in league 1 for Walsall last season then we have players who got us promoted from this division before in Frecklington and Smallwood. We have other players who have played in top league 1 teams like Newell, Forde and Taylor so i definitely wouldn't swap our squad for yours tbf.

Rowe is better than all of them.

We will finish above you next season, your very short time as a club better than us is over. The two divisional gao with us in the championship and your lot in league 2 will be back soon sadly for you.

You don't know that do you? Bigger budget which will mean new signings whilst Fleetwood and Rochdale are likely to lose their players.

It's hardly a absurd suggestion to predict we'll finish above them next season.

Oh fuck, the nightmare scenario of Rovrum and Donny arguing about who is best, biggest, most fans, better players.

The footballing equivalent of those pissy little terriers who do nothing but yap - no offence to Uddersfield.

Another Swindon fan lecturing other clubs!

I can say all I want about Rotherham but one things for certain, they're a bigger club than you league 2 shite.

Can't wait to get back to the league we've spent the majority of the last decade in.... the CHAMPIONSHIP

Majority of the last decade  we could all pick eras or timeframes to suit our argument. I bet Bournemouth are enjoying playing in the league they've spent the majority of the last 3 years in.

1. Real Madrid
2. Barcelona
3. Manchester United
4. Doncaster Rovers

If United don't buck their ideas up they could find themselves being leapfrogged by Donny and down to only the 4th biggest club in the world.

Are you SERNWA in disguise?

And the decade before that you were non league shite. Hope that pitch of yours is better, too.

Incorrect. Do the math bitch. Nice to see you get pleasure from a club been run to the ground by a corrupt owner though. Bet you're a barrel of laughs :giphy::flint:

Just wondering what you base your assertion of getting promoted next season on, apart from the bravado of getting promoted this.

We've got our own worries on the ownership side. You just have to look at the bottom 4 and the ownership issues of us all to see the correlation between shit owners and shit teams.

Not quite sure if Power would torch the CG though.

Lol please don't compare what your going through to our bent crook leading us to the bottom of the conference with a bunch of 16 year olds and burning the bastard stadium.

Also it's not exactly absurd to suggest we are going up again, manager who's done it twice before, big budget, good squad. Not say we're gonna win the league but the play-offs in a very open league should be the aim, it's not an absurd claim really is it? Look at Fleetwood and Rochdale... and Scunthorpe anyone can do it!

You're trying too hard Hooped Wizard it's painful.
Is the idea we might go up again really that absurd to you? You'd think we've never done it before the way some of you are going on!!

They seem to think the suggestion we might just have a good chance of the play-offs next year is utterly ridiculous. How little do they know, ffs Burton went up last year, a few years before that Yeovil and Rotherham.

We have the basis of a team who can compete at League 1 and probably 4/5 players short of challenging for playoffs/promotion which given we are promoted already I'm sure the players required have been identified and planning put into place. From the start of next season we have a 1:24 chance of winning league 1 the same as every other club in there but also the momentum of promotion this so it's far from ridiculous

I'm not saying it's ridiculous, just improbable. The promoted teams from last season look better quality and, although they've done well, don't look like making the playoffs.

Fuckin Bradford tho, nowhere getting over 50% capacity crowds till they were selling ten bob season tickets. As for us we average around 8k home fans without away support so your rather on a wind up or really bad at maths. Bigger than Millwall yeah right who's told you that one and are you really gullible to believe that.
Seems like you never met SERNWA?

Where is SERNWA? Who was the other Rovrum fan that it all went nuts over a few years ago (cant remember what came out) Millers Intelligence or something?!

Our budget is bigger than the 3rd place team in this league.

But someone from Swindon says we won't make the play-offs so we'll settle for mid-table mediocrity.

Us Donny fans can't wait to be back out of the tramp leagues, it's been a difficult 3 years.

Just realised Swindon go on about us so much because we took their only decent player Andy Williams... who is our fourth choice striker! Mid-table though of course next season, cos the Swindon fan said so. :giphy:

Surely he got banned?

They were in their golden period when they were last in this league getting promoted so I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them have gone back to supporting Wednesday and Man Utd.

Andy Williams was on £7k a week with us thanks to di Canio's scattergun approach to recruitment. Couldn't wait to get rid, tbh.
