Indeed it was. I live in Barrs nowadays but his mum (nice lady) lives not too far away. The island isn't as bad as it's made out to be in all honesty, the 'Wood was probably worse but that was ok as well.
I've actually met Holloway a couple of times. Once he was very nice and the other time he was a total knob head!
Anyway, Robinson is a media hunting whore, Cott's is alright and Holloway. well he's Ian Holloway FFS!

We nearly bought a place up there a few years ago, an estate named after race tracks IIRC (Aintree close??). Nice area.
My Mrs works on the premise that anywhere with more than 1 bath room is 'posh' so Downend is officially posh as my Mrs says so and I'm far too scared to disagree with her!

With Martin in goal and McFadzean at the back instead of Ian McLoughlin and Keith Andrews, we would have conceded half of those goals tbf...plus the award of a red card at 2-2 would have changed the game had the referee not bottled it. So yeah, in answer to your question, it didn't help.
