Week one fixtures saw a few Agombar Stool set the early pace, already looking a tough place to visit, Deepcut Cobbler a little unlucky to lose with 11 points.

Soup Ladle ironically with the early wooden spoon. Ferguson's booking getting and the rest of the boys 0's starting him off with the only negative score of the week. Still, the only way is up!

Boz played against the average score of the other teams due to the uneven number of teams in the league, another impressive performance. Northstandexile also achieving over 20 points, impressive!

League Table now also attached.

The highest scoring player selected was Danny Johnson of Walsall with a mighty 12 points from a week 1 hat-trick.
Tom James with 9 points due to his outrageous goal and clean sheet (booking getting him -2 though).
Paddy Madden rounds off the top 3 with 8 points due to his goal and assist.

This turned out to be a lot more comprehensive than I imagined, top work LordJord!

Thanks! I await the negative comments about charts / do you know this is L2 / massive virgin but so far we have managed to avoid those haha. TBH due to recent events I am trying to keep as busy as possible so this is ideal for me. :2thumb:

That's the only reason i entered the competition, now I feel I've achieved all I can in the game. Maybe time to bow out gracefully? Will take some time out to consult the family.

Always hated average. Terrible poster and all round knobber. Can't wait to teach him a lesson.

Archibald in for his teammate Drinan (who I assume is injured).

Hemmings to stay as captain.

Unsure. Don’t think he’s injured, more just a case he hadn’t done pre season with us. After the disasterclass Jameson played, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start this weekend.

Good to know, im tempted to drop him out also but then again none of my midfielders / forwards got me any points either.

Can I stick with the same line up for this week but update my captain to Danny Hylton please!
should be interesting this week - we both have a Bradford guy in goal or defence and both have Danny Hylton

LordJord Can I just clarify something - and I am not taking this super seriously because I'm winning after week 1 - but what is the cut off for making changes to my team? I assume it's sometime before the line-ups for the games have been announced (circa 2pm on a Saturday afternoon) but i'd appreciate clarity as I've already picked a defender that doesn't play so having that advantage would be lovely :)

Might be good to set something so everyone is in the same boat. Cheers.

Good question! I would say if it can be by midnight Friday. That way we are locked in for game day. I have not really thought about what happens for Tuesday games yet. Will most likely say no transfers between Saturday games and Tuesday games but I will cross that bridge later!

I think that's a fair compromise for the Saturday games, maybe Thursday midnight if there is any Friday match?

Yeah midweek is awkward, I'd be behind no transfer activity but happy to go with whatever rules you decide bud.

Sounds reasonable to me :brill: .

If there are any friday matches I am sure someone will mention it, but as you say, as long as its the day before that is fine with me.

All these choppers and changers, have some faith!

Am I right in thinking if we want to keep the same team we don't have to repost it every week, only if we're making changes?

You are indeed correct! Only need to post if you want to make a transfer or change your captain :)

Could be close, hoping for more of a contribution from Boateng for us lot, but siding with caution by swapping the captaincy away from him  it'll hopefully either mean a better result for the Stags or a better result on this!
