I'm not getting battered but not doing enough. My GD isn't terrible for where I am in the table. My Mandron gamble isn't paying off, so keep your eyes peeled because as soon as I take him out he'll start bagging!

I seem to have been a bit unlucky so far, scoring on average 10 points a game yet come off with two defeats. I've got two reasons to hope Danny Johnson doesn't score tonight! It's about time Hylton got off the mark for Northampton.

That was in the original rules but I amended it after so now you can keep the same captain all season if you so wish. It was only because O realised the teams were actually much more varied than I thought they might be. Also makes it less work for me. Did post it way back when, frustratingly I could not amend the original post.

So I'm having a bit of a mare trying to figure something out. I want to take out Mandron (Gillingham) and Rydel (Stockport) for Glennon (Grimsby) and McKirdy (Swindon) but there's no way of doing this in my next two moves is there? I'll need to essentially do a placeholder this week to get one of them out using a player from a team that doesn't start with a G or an S, right?

Early season 6 pointer for me. Lose this and I'm facing a long hard season. Get the win and I have a chance to kick on towards midtable.
