Can't see us getting anything against the best team in the league. Challinor seems to enjoying coming to VP and knows exactly how to set his teams up against us. Hopefully Alexander will offer up a few surprises. I'd be infinitely more confident if we had either Walker or Pattison available.

Be very happy with a point but can't see us grabbing one. 2-0 Stockport.

Is Pattison on the sick list? His grass allergy hasn't improved then?

Colchester at home. No idea which Wimbledon team will turn up, the one that tonked Swindon or the one that meekly rolled over against Sutton. Hoping it's the former.

If Friday wasn't one of my days off from the retail coalface, I'm not sure I'd bother taking time off.

You're entitled to your opinion, and you aren't the only person who seems to think this. I think it's wrong and both misses the point of the role he plays for the team (he wasn't weak against Swindon, he's also got more assists than anyone else in our team apart from Mendy) and ignores all the qualities of a player who turned 24 about three weeks ago.

Is he good enough for us if we get promoted? not sure, but he's a decent young player imo.
I thought Darby had a very good game against us on Boxing Day. I’d take him but then I’d take Ironside, Smith etc in fact any CF that can win a ball in the air

Seems absolutely typical that Salford have sacked their manager. Our fans are getting tetchy but I’ve no idea why, bad performances are going to happen, but the signs are still positive under Artell IMO.

Reckon it’ll be another draw.

Just did a quick count and I made it eight clubs, so a third of the division, have changed manager this season...that seems like a pretty high attrition rate...only time will tell whether any have made the right decision.

As for the game this evening, if we play in the determined way we did against Gillingham then we might get something from Swindon...if we capitulate like we did in the second half at Newport, probably not!

Match ticket and travel for me would be around £40 for this evening, think I'm going to be keeping my wallet in my pocket!

Dalby, in my opinion, is shite. He gets bullied off the ball far too easily, poses no threat to defenders whatsoever and hasn't scored a league goal I don't think. Wins the occasional header but that's it. Oh and he doesn't chase any lost causes, where McClean did and hes about 12 years older.
I think 'shite' and implying he's lazy is a bit harsh. He's improved as the season has gone on after a really poor start with most of his goals coming in cup competitions. A decent back up at this level but sadly one I'd let go if we were to go up. That goal at Aldershot was one of the moments that won us the league.

Bratfud fans, are you worried about the rain forecast for tonight?

I've heard we've had a virus go through the squad so might be a blessing if it does get called off

Should be okay with the rain.

Incredibly windy though. Will be interesting to see how it affects our hoofball.

The pitch looks very wet at Bradford going off our media man's photo. If it's raining there now still and for the next couple of hours, I wouldn't be surprised if it's off.

Pitch passed 6:15 inspection, doesn’t look too bad.

1-1 after 25mins. Walsall the better team so far. We equalised from a dubious penalty

Walsall playing the better stuff but we've made the chances so far, Mullin should of had atleast 2, maybe 3.
Need to improve. Evans and Jones bans hurting us in midfield

Hutchinson impressive for them. Liked him at our place in the reverse fixture

When we are good, we really are good.

Watching online and those first 23 minutes are the reason the crowds flock to watch the Stylish Notts these days. Wish I was there naturally but serve up some mediocre opposition and we can and will destroy teams

It's just those top, talented annoying sides we struggle with. Which is no surprise.

Oh make that 4, this is ridiculously easy. Reminds me of the home first halves against Newport, Bradford and Swindon. It's a lesson and Strange Luke is the teacher, and Langstaff the star pupil.

Salford are absolutely diabolical, we haven’t won away all season and we’re 1-0 up but we should be 4 or 5 up already, I really hope they stay this shit all season and fuck off back to non league where the c*** belong.

We have gone full total football, playing a back three here and then just seven footballers rotating positions constantly. It’ll get us battered by someone again soon but christ it’s fun.

Clear penalty for me, the blokes arms were over his head. I'm also not sure they are better, but it's certainly very even - they have looked dangerous at times and have got quality. That said we are capable of going one or two gears up from how we played in the first half whereas I'm not sure they can. If we do we will win this game, if not it's hard to call. We are definitely missing Evans and Jones.

Two shaky defences playing who'll concede first. Swindon maybe shading it but we've had a few moments including right from the off when Ward seemed to bring down Morton who was.clean through. We're racking up the cards again which is always a worry.

They are on 23 points, if they keep being shit we might catch them by Easter.

Dutch national team of the 1970s, Ajax of the same era Notts County of the 2020s. It's uncanny.

Saying that only 76% possession this time.

When Hutch is on it he is unplayable. It just doesn't happen as much as it should - but if it did he wouldn't be with us.

Two awful teams tbh. Thought we might have got that early decision but Morton was a bit theatrical. Stay on your feet and score ffs.

As far as spectacles go that 1st half at Newport was as about as bad as it gets. Literally paint drying would be more entertaining.

Taking positives though, we're not losing and Newport don't look up to much either, so we've got a chance of nicking something and ending this awful run we're on.

0-0 at halftime at Priestfield. Gills dominating, and we’re down to 10 men.

In real time I can see why the ref gave it. With the benefit of replays and photos it looks a bit harsh.

Happy that we’re level at the break all things considered, but it could be a long second half
