Three make it past Round 6 which adds 30pts to the kitty. Burnley & Fulham each score 4 to see Dazza and MagpieBee comfortably through while a first minute strike is enough for Veggie and Middlesbrough. QPR let in a late equaliser to seal Bobbin's exit.

Probably works out well as I'm not around for the next 2 weeks anyway but still, fuck you QPR.

They left it late but injury time winners for Preston and Reading keep Dazza and Veggie alive. Leeds also scored late but could only manage an equaliser and as such, MagpieBee's run comes to an end.

Comfortably through with Huddersfield thumping Charlton, Veggie needed Bolton to hold on to win. Alas, a Gary Hooper strike in the last 15 minutes keeps Dazza in the game.

It's kind of amazing that you both have lasted so long (damn for going out last week) and only 2 teams have been used by both of you...

I hadn't noticed that; credit to Dazza really given that I've picked the more obvious teams and he's only had Derby and Burnley of the top 6.

If you had started with £5 and kept putting the winnings on your next pick, you'd probably be well over £500 now I reckon

Just worked it out, I'd have £296 from a £5 stake. Not too shabby.

Can we have some sort of tiebreak, e.g in the 3rd round running with only 2 competitors there teams have to win and score more goals then their opponents so all the other REALLY PISSED OFF TO-BE PLAYERS don't have to wait 2 years for the game to end.

Good idea for the next round, probably unfair to introduce for this round though.

I'm not going to introduce a tie-break to bring an early end (doesn't seem very fair imo)

Think it'd make more sense just to start the next tournament (alongside the current one) when we get down to 2 or 3 players. Obviously means those still involved with the current one would have to specify which team for what tournament (eg. T5 - Cardiff, T6 - Middlesbrough)

Yeah, that sounds like a better idea ;)
