It's the million pound question. We chatted about it on the podcast last night, and it's clear that Wade isn't happy with some of his signings.

We signed Dylan Barkers and Reece Hutchinson to new deals in the summer and now both are out on loan and certainly won't be playing in our first team any time soon. Tom Bradbury can't even make the bench. I've heard rumours that two of our best signings this summer (Will Ferry and Dan Nlundulu) actually came through Wade himself, so it does seem that they're not as tight as Moore and Duff was.

We sold out 3,000 tickets for Charlton in 6 minutes. Nice work.

Bloody 'ell Argyle.
My grandson has just started studying at Plymouth University and his nan wants to visit him before Xmas. I was happy to drive her to city and later watch a game at Home Ground.
BUT Argyle have no 3pm kick-offs until 17 December, at which time grandson will be packing his bags to spend Xmas at home.
Lets hope Argyle get some FA Cup home draws in November. Ever optimistic.
You can always pop up the A38, i believe we have 5 home Saturday games in that time...

Charles III coronation now clashes with the final day of the league one season so guess that will be moved to the Sunday possibly now.

One thing I've not seen mentioned, and it could be another bluff, is that MacAnthony said on Posh podcast the other week that he'll look to sell his part of Posh at the end of the season because he wants to spend more time with the family and in America.

Not sure what Posh owe him but I'd be surprised if he gets it back. Basically said it costs £12m-£14m a season to run Posh and they'd not even be competitive in L2 without the money that's being put in to make that difference up.

Unless another wealthy benefactor comes in there is a hell of a lot of cost cutting going to be needed there to avoid problems, the issue is with all respect to Peterborough they have been punching above their size for quite a while so would imagine they'd need to tighten expenditure significantly to keep clear of problems.

It’s all such a shame isn’t it?

They've got a couple of pretty wealthy Canadians on board in the last three years or so, so I don't think it'd lead to suddenly becoming a bottom third L1 side but it's a huge amount of money to make up and put in, which really only makes them a bottom 3 or 4 Championship side.

It'd be interesting to compare Posh and Rotherham because they both yo-yo between the two leagues.

Mickey Moore has turned down FGR to stay at Cheltenham - no doubt with a bit of a pay rise.

Genuinely surprised by this, but hopefully it means we can get back to being a bit more stable behind the scenes.

Wonder if he realised him and Burchnall would be about the only two football blokes in the room and thought best steer clear.

Not really surprised, we’re not a great place to be right now.

I said on a group chat this morning that I wonder if it says more about where FGR are at the moment than where we are.

He said it was 12-14m to run it...he never said that was the difference that needs to be made up. Of course we have attendance revenue, players sales revenue etc. One sale of Edwards in the January window, covers the actual deficit for several seasons. Big sales have seen us fine previously.

The bigger problem is losing his willingness to spend more than others on the best of the rest. He buys the most sought after lower league / non league players and pays more than others are prepared to. We then sell them on for millions.

The Canadians (who were only ever in it for the money they could make from the new stadium that has now been scuppered) will not do that and we lose that advantage.

To say we would not be competitive in league 2 can only be based on the false assumption of a 12-14m deficit though. We were always competitive in that division and sometimes even in L1 prior to Dmac.

Sorry, I didn't actually mean the £12m-£14m was the deficit, I've worded that part incorrectly.

Do you think he'll end up leaving? And if he does, do you think it's because of the stadium issue (wasn't aware it has been scuppered)?

Yes he has said he want to leave at the end of the season and plainly has something lined up. Says it is because he wants to spend more time with his family in the U.S, but strong rumours are that he wants to buy Bradford...he is certainly very pally with their CEO who was on his podcast a little while back.

The whole place lacks energy at present.

Perfect timing this just before the derby :bye:
Does make me laugh on social media your fans of all fans trying to take the moral high ground after the McCormick situation.

More rumours also coming out that its Argyle fans they're scrapping with. Clearly think a night in Timepiece is better than a night in Pryzm

Every club has skeletons in its closet and not many have more than we have. The McCormick situation did us no favours at all but it wasn’t long before that you paraded the heavily suspected nonce that is Michael Jackson around St James park. I know this isn’t top trumps of immoral actions by your club but there looks to be no defending Blackman on this one. Not really acceptable to ping a bird 15 ft across the deck is it

Suggestions of a racial element to the encounter. A number of the players' WAGs were out celebrating Nombe's birthday.
Hopefully we will get the full details in due course

It does seem one of those incidents where there’s more to it than what you see on the video. If not then I think the one who was windmilling punches could be in a bit of bother.

With about a third of the season having been played the top two Plymouth & Ipswich are building a points gap for auto-promotion.
The top 6 that are in auto or play-off positions are also building a gap from the mid-table also rans. (Although Derby with a game-in-hand could displace Bolton)

Down at the basement no team has been set adrift although all four relegation candidates MK, FGR, Morecambe & Burton are adrift of safety.

Long season still ahead especially with World Cup in December, but one wonders if position remain same next May. I don't think there will be many changes.

We don't have a game in hand
