Saw a tweet earlier that suggested their Owner has taken more points off them since he's been there than other individual sides had!

`it's certainly ignited a few passions. As you'll have seen, I had to step in and do a rare spot of moderating last night. The amount of bed wetting on your forum regarding this takeover is unreal Moonie.
Good to hear. Highly likely that there are conditions in there like a buyout clause etc. Still surprising to me that Bonner hasn't been targeted by a club higher up the pyramid given the job he's done with Cambridge's resources.Mark Bonner has signed a new long term contract with the club. It's not stated how long it is, but very good news indeed and our best signing of the summer.
Rotherham tried to get him this time last year. He held talks but decided to stay with us. We had a really strong start to the season but after those talks our form nose dived.Good to hear. I’m not sure if he could replicate what he has at Cambridge elsewhere and I think that’s what he’d be nervous about. Bonner’s origins come from coaching (he’s an incredibly experienced and highly qualified coach, probably as high as any manager in the league despite his age) and he has grasped the tactical side of management as he has gone on. I can see him taking a coaching role in one of the youth teams of the England setup one day. But I’m not so sure about manager elsewhere, or if he does then I’m not sure how successful he’ll actually be.Good to hear. Heavily rumoured to be Ian Evatt. Alongside the sex pest video that got leaked the other week, surely Bolton have to sack him
I know AI is all the rage right now, but did you really have to use it to design your badge? The club want to change our badge, this is the proposed new one.
Going to be a survey to find out what the fans think, but whilst a large number of supporters are open to a potential change no one at all seems to like the one they've put forward.
That's awful. Who in their right mind thought that might be ok?The club want to change our badge, this is the proposed new one.

Bristol Rovers tried to do the same. We put up a fuss and stopped it dead. Take a look at the clip art shit they suggested...The club want to change our badge, this is the proposed new one.

Yeah that doesn't compare to your current one either, not as bad as what the designer has come up for us though. Think your current badge is perfectly fine easily identifiable, can't confuse with anyone and it relates to the area.Bristol Rovers tried to do the same. We put up a fuss and stopped it dead. Rovers continue process to redesign badge despite fan fury over latest survey
Bristol Rovers are more than six weeks into the project with supporters having been emailed this week for their thoughts on possible design conceptswww.bristolpost.co.uk
This is it, they feel they have to meddle with things that don't need changing just because it is old.Yeah that doesn't compare to your current one either, not as bad as what the designer has come up for us though. I don't really understand this attitude that everything must be modernised, and look sleek. If something isn't broken then you don't need to fix it, especially if that fix is making it look like some clipart badge from Pro Evolution soccer. Our badge might not be the prettiest or most iconic but it's recognisable to most actual football fans because we've had it so long.
Rovers fans - I presume the fact that we haven't had the tickets for our game in a few weeks means that its likely to be postponed because of internationals? Or are you still unsure of the capacity?
They quickly assembled a smaller temporary stand/tent before the last home game for away fans to sit as well,When I went into the club shop earlier to collect my Luton ticket, I asked about it, and he said Rovers were printing the tickets today and sending them down. Probably be on sell on Wednesday to Gold members, with restricted to 1 per person. He is 95% sure we'll only get 500 terrace tickets, but we are currently trying everything we can to get a few more, somehow.
Yes, so we have been given 500 terrace tickets only so I guess the stand isn't going to be ready in 3 weeks. They quickly assembled a smaller temporary stand/tent before the last home game for away fans to sit as well,

Great news for you in the sale of land. What an amazing objection haha.Oxfordshire County Council have approved the leasehold sale of the Triangle site (by the A34 and Oxford Parkway, next to Kidlington) to Oxford United for a new stadium subject to planning permission and covenants:
Stadium Land Decision- Club Reaction | Oxford United Football Club
Oxford United Chairman Grant Ferguson has given the club’s reaction after the Oxfordshire County Council cabinet approved the leasehold sale of land south of Kidlington, known as the Triangle, to the club, subject to planning permission and covenants.www.oufc.co.uk
Planning will be through Cherwell District Council.
One of the objections was spectacular in its nuttiness:
Seems a fair objection to me!
Bit of a tight timescale, though.
