Would PP warrant a good reception for you? Don't recall him having the best of times down in SE7. Same with Lee, was only on loan from Luton before he came to us I guess. EOC is class, albeit slow but defo sees a pass from the back straight over the top.

We tend to sit back so no-one can really get in behind. Having O'Connor, Scarr and EOC at the back, we do sit deeper than most but then have the quality to soak up pressure.
I was just messing, only Dobson will get any reaction I imagine. Parkinson was ok, not bad but not particularly good either but League One was really strong back then: Leeds, Southampton, Norwich etc. EOC and Lee were both part of really poor, unlikeable, forgettable Charlton sides.

We have appointed new architects to re-build our kop stand, along with further developments. These are the same ones that did the spurs stadium, for those interested.

We do have to get this done by 2026 for a few reasons, the main is Wales hosting the euro u19s I think, but there is also the wider 'lets spend public money that is ringfenced for the gateway project' as you head into town. Wish they would pull their fingers out and get spades in the ground.

They probably will do. I'd love to be first in the queue to knock the bloody things down. Bunch of morons who damn nearly stole the land for their own gain, when it wasn't even their land to start with.

Maybe, or well drilled.

We’re on 23 now, i wouldn’t be surprised if we’re on or around 30 points come NY (which would still be a fantastic effort, just a bit more realistic position wise)

Clearly you need to be looking at picking up points in your first three games...

New investors brought into the Wrexham fold by R&R....and a fair bit of lolly too!
Planning for the future, but all the naysayers reckoned "they'd off after a season or two..."

"In a joint statement, Wrexham AFC Co-chairmen Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds commented, “Wrexham has earned the world’s attention and we are focused on bringing on board world-class partners to help with the next phase of our growth. We have been fortunate to get to know the Allyn family and we are blown away by their intelligence, kindness and commitment. They are exactly the type of partners we will need for this amazing endeavor.”

Eric Allyn, Manager and Chief Investment Officer of the Allyn’s Family Office, said, “For more than a century, our family has focused on building great companies, while also uplifting wonderful communities. Our decades-long efforts in the Syracuse region are similar to what Rob and Ryan have started in Wrexham. We view Red Dragon Ventures as a vehicle to invest in a world-class football club, and, importantly, in the welcoming community of Wrexham.”

Along with the Club Necaxa group buying 5% last year it's all part of the continuing investment into the club. Not sure how much constitutes a minority share- people keep saying we need Billionaire investment if we are to keep moving up the pyramid so here it is.

Money goes to money, I guess. Great coup and there is a small portion of backing required to go through to the championship. Just what we are required, listening to football fans round the country/world etc.

I do think Wrexham will keep securing the funds they need to progress through the leagues although at the championship that will require a pretty steep hike.

Do these people realise that there are other clubs in the league with passionate fans and 'wonderful communities'?

There are a few American Investors who have watched the rise of Wrexham have no clue on relegation/promotion how that works. They are not wealthy enough to buy a Everton and own a Premiership club club so take a punt at 10% 20% at your Wrexham/Birmingham etc.

Interesting you say that. If you delve into the proposed take over of us, Humphrey Ker (the main person in getting Rob into UK football) said Rob was looking in Ireland, Scotland and then England. Ireland, there isn't much growth for a team, same with Scotland (where you play Rangers and Celtic for the title each year), then they had a shortlist of some clubs. We were 1 alongside Hartlepool, down on luck but had things going for us. They did a point scoring system and we come out on top.

The way the 2 lads have promoted everything has just been absolutely sensational. From a club heading south into regional football, survived only by a worldwide virus, for us to then get these as custodians of the 3rd oldest club in the world, is like winning the lottery each bloody week.

This news is another momentous occasion as we know in this country how football finances work, which they sure know too with the help and guidance of Shaun Harvey.

they sold their company for $2bn in 2015 as a benchmark for their wealth.

the same LLC company that was set up as part of this investment have also confirmed Rob & Ryan are majority shareholders in Wrexham Lager too, a quite successful brewery that has grown and grown since it restarted 12-14 years ago

Bootlegger was the face of their marketing for a while, but he has now been moved on, likely to professionalise their business

Yeah those doing this either do not have the money or appetite to go buy something like a Everton (whoever gets Everton will make a fortune) so are taking a cheaper punt on those likes instead in the hope of making money down the line.

It’s risky because IMO the odds are more in favour of Wrexham eventually getting to the championship then getting bogged down and becoming a money pit than reaching the premier league and selling on for a fortune. Birmingham have a better chance but even then it’s got a good chance of not working.
