I'm also in the 'we could drop' camp currently.

Can see us going well into August to finalise our squad which seriously hampered us last season. Frustrating. Would have liked an immediate replacement for Ajose, as an example. Feel like Power is probably just waiting for loans again.

Flattered by a lot of these predictions but really can't see us being anywhere close to the top, even the play-offs are probably out of reach.

Really? Despite the off the pitch stuff you arguably have one of the best managers in the division and have made some excellent signings this summer? I'd be shocked if you didnt get at least a top 6 finish

The three signings are great but the exodus that we were all expecting has started.

Cousins has gone, Gudmundsson has gone. There is interest around both Harriott and Pope, offers will probably start coming in for Lookman once he returns from the England u19s.

Our squad isn't that big and already in pre-season we've lost Lennon, Kashi and Diarra through injury which is quite frankly embarrasing.

On the face of it, we should have a good starting 11, beyond that though, we are pretty hopeless.

We have one right back, and one CM currently. We are about 6-7 signings away from challenging - at least.

Similar to us in the league above ironically. A decent first 11 but nothing beyond that and we can't make signings till this takeover happens.

Back on topic Slade has notoriously been successful with small squads and yiu've still got time to make signings. You've still got a decent enough squad for that level

Since these posts, Burnley have had a bid accepted for Nick Pope and Forest have made a move for Stephen Henderson. Both of our goalkeepers

Forget about it mate. We haven't got a prayer. We'll be closer to the bottom end as it stands.

I have noticed that a lot of you have Wimbledon, in the bottom 4, well 7 of you wont be here in August 2017, we will be.
League 2 is dross compared to L1 which on paper I think will be stronger this year than last. Wimbledon will do well to stay up, so will Shrewsbury and a few others, calm down and enjoy the ride!

I don't like Scunthorpe being asterisked, it makes me think I can't say "c***".

Edit: FFS "dibdobdibdob" that's cuntish.

It's nice having so many people putting us in play-offs and promotion places but it simply isn't going to happen.

We don't have the players, the squad is quite thread bare and there isn't much quality. No strikers, and no players close to coming in as we bottle giving bigger contracts. So no Aneke or Hall.

Mid-table for us.

Cousins gone.
Gudmundsson gone.
Pope gone.
Watt gone.

Henderson not even on the bench tonight after an approach from Forest.

Arsenal scouts currently watching Lookman in the England u19s.

Bauer, Lennon, Diarra and Kashi already injured.

Someone posted something interesting on Twitter earlier - incoming fees £4,850,000 (which is a pisstake in itself) and outgoing fees are £640,000, nice little profit of £4.2mil for the old Begians. Not bad for a couple of weeks work.

11/1 to go down, you'll spend worse tenners.

Vale fans must really rate Byron-Moore after predicting us to finish 3rd & 4th

Personally, I cant see us finishing about 14th. Not unless we make 2 or 3 more signings.

We'll be higher than that mate. About 8th with a peek at the playoffs I reckon.

Looks like we're destined for a boring season, not one person has us going down or making the play offs.

Hard to argue at the moment.
