Would normally be over the moon with a point away from him but not a great set of results for us today. Only gained a point on MK.

We've won seven compared to everyone else's eight.
We've lost four while Preston and Swindon have five defeats. (On the iPad so I can't do that shruggy shoulders thing)
:dk: Is that what you're looking for?

Swindon's fans don't have the winning mentality to get automatic. A draw at lower half teams is not a good thing.

May aswell kick Swindon fans from this thread now, they will be out of the play offs come May the way its going :fl:

8 point gap looks very good, fair play to Preston having a terrific run!

I'm struggling to see where anyone has said that it's a good result.
Who said 'would normally be over the moon with a point away from him -sic-' then if it wasn't you? Bizarre.

I've seen similar comments from your fans on a number of occasions.

Are you being deliberately thick? That is me saying that I would normally be happy with a point away from home but given the results today and the match itself, it's more a poor result than a good one today.

If yourselves and Preston had have lost, it would indeed have been a good point. You seem to have forgotten that you lost at Gresty Road.

And I said 'a draw at a lower half team is not a good thing' whereas you would 'normally be happy'.

I wouldn't 'normally be happy' with a draw at Crewe and I was fuming when we lost.

Are you the one being deliberately thick?

I would indeed have been happy had a couple of the other results gone our way. Crewe are much improved from the side that struggled early in the season and a point taken out of its context would have been no bad thing.

Oh, and our fans' mentality has nothing to do with the team's promotion chances.

Table looking fantastic tonight. Eight points clear, our nearest two challengers playing each other next week and fourth place not looking like stringing a run of results together if the players are as content with draws as the fans.

It'll take a collapse from this position and I expect a win in front of a big City following at Orient on Tuesday.

Good day for City and PNE. I think we will push on now, 70 points at the end of February is a great achievement by our boys.

Onto Orient on Tuesday now

How things change. Preston in superb form at the minute, we're still grinding out results... Really does look like us and preston for the top 2 at the minute

MK to inconsistent, and swindon in terrible form... But the pendulum has swung many times already this season, so the momentum could easily change in a few weeks!

Think a point would be a good result there, haven't they won 3 on the bounce now?

I said right at the start of the season that Preston would win the league, they've got a good experienced squad and I fully expect them to reach the autos, behind us ovcourse ;)

I hope they do it, got a soft spot for PNE, always have.

They've picked their form up a bit. Will be tough game as they have some good players in the squad, just haven't clicked this season.

I'd be content with a draw.
