Looks like our game at Colchester, weekend after next, will be called off.

Luongo, Kasim and probable new recruit Ricketts all called up for international duty - along with Turnbull, Stephens, Toffolo and Swift all called up by England U20s.

Means we'll probably go over two weeks without a game. With us playing on the Saturday and not good Friday it'll be interesting how the table looks by the time we kick off against MK Dons. Wonder if we'll bring the Colchester game forward or not.

Gives us 8 games in April, though.

Only benefit really is it means one game less before the bookings amnesty on 12 April.

So Swindon don't have another game this month? I'm looking at that as a positive as you want the games coming as quickly as possible when you hit form.

The table would look good if we can manage 4pts from Barnsley and Fleetwood.

No excuse. We've played sat-tues-sat for a solid 2 months.

Not making excuses, but your heavy fixtures were of your own making (feckin' successful wurzels!).

Ours is because of Walsall and call-ups - but we can still break-up the Preston/Bristol love-in.

I can see this fixture absence screwing us up. Lets just hope the lads are training every day and not off on their jollies somewhere.

Fleetwood away has the potential to be a 'mare of a fixture for us now.

Robinson, Wiseman already called up. Jamaica likely to call up Humphrey and Johnson.
We can't call it off as we are on the tele. These international friendlies are utterly pointless. Probably also going to cost us 3 points.

That's bad! It doesn't seem fair either.

Our players will pull out of their international fixtures like last time, i'd be amazed if Humphrey, Johnson and Robinson aren't available.

Read that on PNE Online. Is that even allowed?

Can't force someone to get on a plane, just puts future call ups in doubt.

Hopefully we'll still need a result for that Swindon game and they will be assured of their play-off place or second spot. Last year when that happened we beat Brentford 4-1. Then, on the Saturday, Preston are also assured of their spot and two 4-1 wins in the week sees us safe :animatedf:

Swindon's postponement makes it look less likely we'll be mathematically promoted against them, buggers.

Would rather points on the board than games in hand at this stage of the season, postponment could put even more pressure on Swindon if Preston do well when Swindon don't play, combined with the fixture congestion.

I fear you're right, but it could work in our favour should Preston slip up as that'll give us a massive boost, and it'll then be in our own hands too, knowing we also have go to Preston.

The table won't make good reading if they win their next few games though, games in hand or not.

Yup, we don't play until 2 weeks tomorrow, meaning Preston play 3 times before us, and our next 2 games are MK and Bristol City!

Nice break though, should be very refreshed.

Plus all your players on 9 bookings will now be spared.
