Ryan Colclough has apparently gone on trial at Wolves. Oh I do hope they sign him.

To be fair as talented as he may be if Crewe keep him is his heart likely to be in it now so probably be best for all parties

Smith has spoken to the representative of Oldham's 32 year old defender Brian Wilson.

So that's Doncaster's reserve right back and now an Oldham back up centre half.

Setting that bar high.

Barnsley getting Dan Crowley on loan is a big signing. Only till Jan, however.

Do chesterfield have a team left that can stay in league one now? tbh its what we would do if we were in that kind of position.

Not as it stands, no.

He was supposed to go on loan to a L2 team in January but got injured, it's what he needs whilst he sorts himself out. Not mobile enough for a right back and not strong enough for a centre half, shame he got caught between 2 positions, good luck to him

The only problem I can foresee with Crowley is that he might not be able to hack the physicality of men's football yet. He's very small and not particularly quick, but technically he's fantastic.

Burton fans, as I'm sure you're aware, we have signed George Taft on loan until Jan. Is he any good?
Yes, you've got a good player there.
Apparently he's signed an improved contract with us before going out on loan.
He tries to play football and is certainly not one to ''hoof it''
Hopefully he will come back an even better player
Please don't change his style of play

That's good to hear. We played a bit of hoof it football towards the end of last season to avoid being dragged down into the relegation fight.

Thankfully this summer we have recruited well and won't have neck ache if all goes to plan!!

Daniel Crowley once ripped our youth team apart in the FA Youth Cup. Many posh fans believe it was the best individual display at LR for the past 15/20 years. Arsenal won 6-1. He scored one and got 5 assists.

If you have 3 minutes, just watch this. He's number 10, and I think he may have only been 15 years old when this match took place.

Tafty is a good lad, he may have had limited oppurtunities with the Brewers this season but more on experience and game time. 6mths with yourselves should do him the world of good and you,

I know the opposition was literally sunday morning park standard, but Crowley was the by far and away the best Arsenal player when I saw him on their pre-season tour to the middle east. Cool, calm, collected - good left foot and could pick a very good pass. I expect him to be a stand out. Barnsley quietly building themselves a squad.

Seems Josh Wright may be training with us. Whether he's on trial or just getting fitness remains to be seen
I'm all for it if it means some Michelle Keegan sightings at Priestfield. Been missing some glamour since Jamelia left us.

I apologise, it really wasn't worth saying twice. Or once probably. :ffs:

And your club hasn't seen for 11 years. Which is more embarrassing? You are right, we aren't the best judges of Grant anymore. But I'm not sure why you are so touchy after 1 throwaway comment. Need to chill out a bid dude. Not our fault you haven't signed any decent players.
He does it with every signing. He even tried maintaining that McMahon is a good player despite Blackpool fan saying he's seen better Sunday league players and a Sheffield United forum praying that he was eligble to play against them because he was shockingly bad. It must all be a massive coincidence though.

I thought that about James Maddison for us(very similar player to Crowley) but he had no problems settling in to mens football.

We keep being linked to Nicky Ajose which is very upsetting.

I'm sure I read that Swindon have had a bid rejected for Ajose?

He's been told to find a new club by Rosler and by the sounds of it, they will only listen to permanent offers as apparently Swindon had a loan bid for him rejected.

That was actually meant to be posted in the Transfer rumours thread ffs

We're supposedly interested in Ajose but I don't think we've actually tried to sign him. We've got enough strikers anyway.

He's actually very good - started off a bit dodgy/flappy early last season but once he got to know his defence he did very well. Excellent shot stopper and top draw distribution, needs to improve a bit on crosses/decision-making.

I'd say you were spoiled with Johnstone last season and Pickford probably isn't quite at that level, but he should do a very good job for you nonetheless. His performance in our win at Deepdale last season is a good indicator for how he played for the bulk of the season.

Noel Hunt - 1 year deal with clauses for second year which Brown says he will hit so 2 year deal. Very happy with this signing if he plays like he did for Ipswich last season it's a very shrewd buy

Great signing for this level.

Sounds like you are building a decent side, I think Southend could be an outside bet this season.

Looking forward to my trip to roots hall on the 22nd.

Building a good side but we are low on numbers up top. We have Mooney and Hunt who are both 30+ expect Joe Pigott to eventually sign who's only 21 but I'm on the fence on whether he will cut it in league 1 then I imagine we'll get a youngster on loan. Wouldn't mind a quality CB as old Barrett is getting on abit and need a covering full back.
Look forward to it also hopefully have a rough idea how we are going to do then at the moment I don't really have a clue don't expect us to be in a relegation scrap though
