Doyley wouldn't be a first teamer if he were to come in, but a better backup option than Callum Davies was who we've just let go to Maidstone. Even if Oshilaja goes back to Cardiff then Egan and Ehmer as a partnership is still one of the better ones in the league.

Seems like the decision whether or not Dominic Samuel stays for the season will be up to the lad himself - McDermott has basically said he isn't sure what's best for his development so it's all a bit up in the air. We could certainly do with him staying for the year, he's been a real asset since he came in.

I see Ikpeazu has gone back to Watford after finishing his loan spell with Port Vale. Got all the raw assets to make himself a really good striker at this level, but there are massive holes in his game(finishing can be atrocious at times and his heading ability is terrible for a big guy) and he has a massive ego. Claims he's humble and blessed and all that religious shite on Twitter, but then goes all billy big bollocks on the pitch. Be interesting to see where he ends up next.

Sublime to ridiculous is big Uche, against Sheffield United and Doncaster he was literally dragging defenders along by his ankles as he destroyed them, against Maidenhead and since the Burton (all be it harsh) sending off he has looked like bambi on ice.

Got the talent, not the attitude unfortunately and now AJLS is hitting the goals he has rightly lost his place, clearly gone back as a new striker is due imminently.

Town are close to re-signing Andy Mangan on loan for the remainder of the season and extending the loan for Larnell Cole from Fulham.

Bullied defenders at the start of the season. Can look immense or awful. With the right coaching etc he could be a very good striker.

Just hope we have a better replacement lined up, because Uche was a good enough player for us I believe. The problem was that we have no strength in depth in forward areas so we relied on Uche, a young kid far too much.

So, so happy. The kid is going to the very top. He is very similar in style to Jack Grealish, and is more skillful than probably our most skillful ever player, George Boyd. Just watch this skill and goal from the christmas/new year games!
