Charlton are the ones who've bid for Holmes, £500k. Turned down.

£500K for a 29 year old who's never really done it above League 2 would be a deal in my opinion.

I am. Not a groundbreaking signing but a definite improvement on what we had (which frankly wasn't a lot past the first choice midfield) and a decent pro, so it's a thumbs up from me.

Charlton have signed Ricky Holmes for an undisclosed fee. The undisclosed bit came at Charlton's insistence, so considering they had a bid of £500k turned down yesterday, I'd say a couple hundred grand more would probably have done it.
