I'm guessing Charlton fans have done a U-turn now and are confident again?

Worrying for us, hopefully can have something to shout about soon too.

Surprised Knotts gone to Gillingham thought he would be go to a lower side, very good move for him. He looks like Zidane if he gets some space but big games pass him by too often for me. He needs a run in a side to develop the mental side of the game as there's no doubt he has talent.

Peter Hartley has signed for Bristol Rovers. Bit of an odd signing. A great servant for us but needed replacing if we are to progress, so to see him sign for Rovers in League 1 where he won't meet the standard is a little confusing. Good character and leader in the dressing room though.

Blimey.

Maybe we have learned from previous mistakes and are allowing Slade to take charge, surely not.

Pleased with the signing of Holmes and would be ecstatic if we get Ajose over the line too.

Very big blow for us, almost as bad as Wilder leaving, but if it is up to 600k-700k that would be our transfer record fee smashed and there's no guarnatees that he carries his form into League 1. Can't begrudge him a move considering his season last year, just the way football works. It will be very hard to get an equal evel replacement all things considered however, makes the next season a little bit harder - hope we've got more than 2 full backs and an aging target man in the pipeline to cover the amount of goals and assists we've lost this transfer window.

After signing Holmes, we've agreed a deal for Ajose.

Local journo now insinuating that Novak is set to choose us.

Now have you come back into the light from the dark side?

Of course not.

We're in league one pal after promises that we'll be challenging for the PL. They have hell of a long way to go to start winning right-minded fans over.

So, Kyle McFadzean wants to join Sheffiejd United, understandable as he's a fan. We aren't letting him go, so I guess it's up to United to stump up the cash.

Very happy with that,

So gutted hes gone cracking player, a few fans aren't not sure why as he was inspirational when he started. Lost his way a bit towards the end of the season but rumours are he fell out with staff at the club. I think this one will come to bite us in the arse.

Think we are signing Jason Demetriou from Walsall.

I thought he was meant to be quite good?
I know, good isn't it. If he signs it will soften the blow of missing out on Novak, we certainly are going for quality players which is nice to see.

According to our local rag, we're leading the way for Byron Moore, winger from Port Vale. Seven other L1 clubs after him, no idea how good he is though.

I liked Oztumer but his inconsistency just meant he was never going to nail a place down constantly. He blows hot and cold. When he's hot, he's good but when he's cold you're carrying him.

His passing is wayward at best really but if you're looking for someone to score from midfield rather than create, he's a decent signing.

Now deleted his Twitter after his misses leaked the news he wanted to go. Interesting...

Ajose is a good goal scorer - other than that he is bang average. His record of 24 goals and no assists sums him up.

The word 'poacher' was invented for him.

Charlton linked with Agard. Would be a great move for him.

Suits some style of play, admittedly - but not all. Needs 2 up front for him to shine. None of this 1-up plus a wide nonsense.

The spotters are flashing the cash.
Wish we had generous owners like them.
