McCabe has supposedly told fans on our training trip to La Manga that deal has been reached for Leon Clark. Latest on our rumour mill is Forster-Caskey, believe it when I see it.

Rejected Rotherham because he doesn't want to move that far north away from home/his family.

It didn't have to end like this Tom.

Great player, sour way to leave.

The sad realisation of modern football. Player Power. Ricky Holmes was the same for us. Transfer listed requests when you've had a bid rejected just smack of players throwing their toys out the pram when they don't get what they want straight away.

People choosing where they work? Horrible.

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
A bid rejected for Rob Holding at Bolton, around 1.2m
Bolton said to be asking for £2m +
Don't know if Muzzle is around and can enlighten me anymore, but I know he's a well rated lad with various top flight clubs sniffing around. Centre Back? We currently have 2 recognised senior CBs so it's a position we need, and anyone we signed would likely get a fair few games (as opposed to sit on a bench). Whether a young player is the right fit for that, I'm not sure.

Last season he ripped us apart at their ground. I remember being massively embarrassed by it. He would get the ball in CB and go on these runs taking on our entire team and ending in him taking a shot. He also scored against us that game, don't think I've wanted to see a player get snapped more than him.

Timothee Dieng, 2 year deal having left Oldham, had never heard of him until last week but Oldham fans seemed annoyed he had been let go

Apparently signing Ryan Flynn, Billy McKay and Cameron Burgess today.

Linked with Jack Payne & Harry Beautyman.

Payne and Beautyman would be a pair of good signings.

Payne is a free transfer, and Beautyman only a small fee. Both comfortably League One level. Payne looked good in the Championship too in fairness.

Not a bad player. Started off well under Johnson at CB but then a run of bad games knocked his, and Wilson's (who's gone to Sheff Utd) confidence and started playing badly, regularly.

Sheridan came in and slapped him in DM and he looks quite impressive at times. Not spectacular, but decent enough for this level.

Given our squad depth at present, I'd have liked to have kept him. However, I would guess that your offer of bigger wages and a longer deal would have attracted him more.

Just as back up, we have Amos and a young lad so needed another senior keeper

He's like any 20 year old, plenty of potential BUT, this lad is better than Gary Cahill was when Cahill came to us as a 23 year old, so whoever gives us the most money, will be getting, in my opinion, a lad who will play for England in the near future, he is that good (and I rarely say this about any player), the last one was Cahill :)

It doesn't look like he'll be an automatic starter so looks a solid utility player to have.

Steady enough player, nothing special but won't shy away and will chip in with a few goals a season.

We've resigned Noble-Lazurus after letting home go. Oh the joy.

Very uninspiring summer so far.

We initially had Ronan Murray training with us just to bring up his fitness but he seems to be have been our best player over the first couple of friendlies and got himself on the scoresheet and seems as though Brown is considering offering him a deal. Notts County fans??

not good enough for League 1 and always. fucking. injured. I didn't dislike him though.

Talk of around £1M with possible additions for appearances and International caps. Up to a max of £1.6M is the rumour.
