Good bit of business I think.

Lots of hate for Callum on our forums but is totally ridiculous. The club clearly have known what is happening with him but chosen not to disclose that so as not to compromise the deal.

City always quote 'undisclosed fee' for some reason even though it is, sometimes, public knowledge roughly what fee we have paid.

Ive heard it's £1.6 million including a couple of add ons, plus a 20% sell on. not sure if true.
We have gained some very good fee's for two players there.

I expect us to pop some of that on a couple of good signings.

Sounds about right Didcot. Around £1M plus add ons would be my guess.

I expect us to use a lot of it to cover our losses. I think that's our model. Maybe it'll help us fund Matty Taylor/a loan replacement for Callum.

Agree it's a nice bit of business for us and hope COD does reach his potential.

I am totally surprised by it though as I thought he was ill and yet he looks remarkably healthy in that picture.

How good is Conor McLaughlin? We've supposedly submitted a bid.

Bradshaw all confirmed to Barnsley, 3 year deal. Undisclosed fee, thought to be anywhere from £650-£750k.

Not ideal and we owe Shrewsbury 20%, the lucky bastards.

Bottom 6 for us next year, stay up on goal difference and then try to rebuild with a young manager like we did with Smith.

I'd have thought he could do better than Barnsley

Good. Was very annoyed when we let him go.
Good enough to compete at the top end of the Championship? I was surprised he's been at Fleetwood for the last four years!

Where have you heard that? ..........goes off to look at Wiki.
Same fella who reported that O'Dowda was having a medical.

With Wales being such a success recently, he has said he wanted to move away immediately to the Championship to enhance his potential of making that squad with world cup qualifiers on the horizon. Can't fault his ambition, can't help he feel that he may be back in League 1 this time next summer though with Barnsley likely to struggle in the Championship (like ANY promoted team virtually). It's such a hard, competitive league up there now, especially financially.

Guess Bradshaw to Barnsley probably means that Rotherham will be getting desperate and may offer us what we want for Gregory. If we get the 2 million we are after I'd call that good business.

Some of the fees flying about. Huddersfield are gonna pay about 100-200k for Payne. What a steal

Looked class when he first broke into our team but broke his leg, struggled badly on his return and we ended up releasing him. Done well for Fleetwood but not sure he's Championship quality.

hmmm - not exactly the glowing endorsement I was hoping for :err:

Gills fans seem to rate him from his time there

He did OK for us and is not nearly as bad as some make out from what I saw of him.
He is limited and quite slow admittedly but he is good in the air and experienced and will do an OK job for you.
He would only have been cover for us if he had come here (not that we were interested as far as I know).

Nowt wrong with El Abd at this level. Most of our fans would have him back.

Good signing.

We're closing in on 3 signings. A centre back, centre mid and another striker supposedly.

Centre back rumours are David Wheater and Matt Kilgallon.
