We've been linked...who's Williams?

Not only linked he's yours. Williams is a left winger, came through our youth academy and on loan from Fulham.

We have cancelled his loan as confirmed by the manager. Really average winger really, doesn't score goals or get assists. Had a really nasty injury in his first spell with us and never recovered.

Someone on our forum reckons Williams is going to Chezzy...would only be back-up here in any case.

Carruthers surprises me as I'm not sure where he fits in when Fleck, Duffy and Coutts have all been so good this season...obviously provides us with some depth and a nice headache, but not an area I thought needed strengthening!

He's a 31 year old Italian goalkeeper who has played 150+ Serie A matches for Roma, Siena and Sampdoria and has cost over €4,000,000 in his career so far. He doesn't seem to have featured for Mainz since joining them in 2015 and now he is going to join the Gas on trial!

Our Player Recruitment Analyst is a Bundesliga expert so I assume it is he who knew of Curci's availability. It could be a masterstroke if he shines in training but as so often happens with players who come over from abroad, it could just as easily go the other way.

We do need another striker but he seems pretty young and inexperienced at league level and I'm not sure he may be what we need in our relegation battle.
