Carruthers I could actually see possibly happening, cheaper than reeves in cost I would imagine and pretty replaceable.

Yeah, I'm not overly confident on either although I notice they are both out of contract at the end of the season and if you don't pick up this season you may well face losing them both for nothing in the summer.

As good as Carruthers is, I'm not sure why you'd want him. I know you have two, slow CM's have been getting a lot of stick but Carruthers isn't that great. So inconsistent and fucks up the easiest things so often. Does the hard stuff so well but can't do the easy stuff. Wouldn't be sad to see him leave.

Not a suprise as he was our captain when Slade was manager here. He was excellent for us back in 2014, but he is 33 I believe and you've only used him as a squad player!

This year he's just too far down the pecking order, but after a slow start last season he was excellent when called upon and should still do a job at least for this season

"Listed as not needed" clearly, that's why he's been starting games, because he's not needed.

Couldn't care less him going though, lost the ball every time he got it last night. Does some special skill to get away from his man but then doesn't pass the ball. Just keeps running with it until he gets tackled or, my favourite, turning around back to our own goal when we've broken on the counter.
