Hearing rumours it's Leroy Lita. We're all devastated.

I was going to suggest Lita in a jovial manner.

A jovial manner is the only way to suggest Lita.

Said rumoured player was not at Woughton today. I'm starting to prepare to toss this rumour in the over-flowing dustbin.

Strange as it came from a reliable source who had got the Afobe, Walsh and the Devante Cole rumours spot on.

We had him last season for our run in and he was very good, either footed and a very good range of passing. He scored a penalty for us at Wembley in our shoot out loss, some of our fans could argue he should've started the final for us as well.

We got him back this season and he was poor, his passing and positioning was very off and Liverani got rid of him after a month.

I don't think playing for ourselves and Blackpool this season has done his confidence much good, we've both been awfully run off the pitch as well as on.
We're not great either really so not sure how well he will do, we needed him though as Bishop is out for a month.

It seems Swindon Towns push for automatic promotion is over, as they have let wonderkid Harry Agombar out on loan to Grays Athletic.

We've signed Al Bangura on a deal until the end of the season. Much needed cover in central midfield.
Be wary of relegation if Al is starting for you. I saw him many times for Forest Green an he was out of his depth in the conference. Mind you he could become another Kasim as he was pants at conference level but is now an international superstar.

That Nakhi Wells we were linked with in January has missed 2 penalties today...

Jeez.

PORT Vale are scouting Solihull Moors striker Omar Bogle as they consider a move for the 22-year-old in the summer.

The 6ft 2in hit-man has been pulling scouts to Solihull's Conference North games as the former Birmingham City youth player builds on his reputation.

Bogle scored 18 goals last season and was named Solihull's player of the year.

He played for Birmingham City's reserves as a 16-year-old and had a brief spell with Glasgow Celtic, playing in their under-19s, before making his name with Hinckley and now Solihull.

He's on Vale's list of potential targets for this summer.

When asked about Bogle at this afternoon's press-conference at Vale Park, coach and scouting co-ordinator Mark Grew said: "We have had him watched on numerous occasions. I have sent people to watch him and they have come back with good reports. We will have to wait and see on that one."

Omar Bogle is probably the best name in non-league football.

I hope he signs.

If Coventry pay for him, they can have him. Disciplinary issues so we would expect a fee.

We won't pay for him, unless you mean wages?

Surely you mean wouldn't expect a fee? Why on earth would we pay a fee for a player who is out of contract in 2 months and clearly has no future at Port Vale.

If he is trying to engineer a move away with bad discipline we should otherwise let me rot in the ressies or go Awol. Plus he is 23 so are entitled to a fee even when his contract expires.

You are only entitled a fee if you offer him a contract on at least the same terms he is on now.
By the way, how would you rotting in the reserves improve matters?

You only get that if you offer him a new contract on at least equal terms to the deal he is currently on before his current contract expires, if he rejects that and signs else where then you are entitled to compensation which is a mutual agreement or tribunal.
So if you don't offer him a new deal, he can run out his contract and sign for who he wants and you are entitled to nothing.

For a player who is on the brink of dropping out of the professional game, has no match fitness, only made one appearance for you and has proved nothing during his career I doubt the tribunal would be worthwhile anywhere. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if it was nothing upfront (or close) with just a sell on clause or maybe a fee if he reaches X amount of appearances.
