Did Chelsea not recall Colkett?

Could Bristol Rovers not have just kept him on loan until the end of the season? Just seems a bit pointless from a Chelsea perspective.
We weren't playing him. Chelsea probably got the arsehole with us about it. DC probably ( hopefully) wants some room in the squad for new signings. Shame because I like players like Colkett but in DC we trust.

Fair enough, makes sense.

4 signings in 2 days, all loans so would expect a couple more permanents before the end of the window.

A midfield containing Charlie Colkett and Ben Gladwin certainly looks more appealing than one involving Anton Rodgers and Conor Thomas so would like to think we've strengthened there.

Don't know anything about Feruz or Dabo, although the latter has captained Chelsea U21 so one hopes he can improve us at full back.

Aston Villa have sent Brian little to watch Marcus Maddison numerous times this season. Darragh confirmed it on Twatter.

Long term gains.
Gutted he's going to you peasants, you won't appreciate him

He's not exactly what I would want in a relegation battle.

If Jamie Paterson is available on loan we better at least try and get him in considering he's from Cov and a Cov fan.

Would a Coventry fan want to play for your current owners?

Winchester gone to Cheltenham. Pretty gutted as he was brilliant under Lee J*hnson but has never kicked on. Potential is there.

Matt Crooks signed from Rangers on loan, from what I've read he can play CB or CM which is great.

In for young Man City keeper Lawlor. Permenant deal. Joe Partington deal is apparently done.( nothing official yet) and Matthew Upson has been spotted leaving the Mem. That would be a very odd signing indeed.

Don't know alot about Lawlor, I think Partington could be a decent signing (if true). First i've heard of the Matt Upson story, has me scratching my head a little :dk:

We've confirmed the signing of Eoghan O'Connell on loan until the end of the season from Celtic.

We also just extended Scott Laird's loan deal from Scunthorpe until the end of the season. He's been quality and has a fantastic rapport with the fans, great to keep him, especially considering our only other left back is a 17 year old.

Oh no, you've signed another striker to help on your push to the championship...
We have other positions we clearly need to improve on if we want to push for promotion, signing more strikers we don't need is pointless.

Neal Eardley signed until the end of the season. Was released from Hibernian. Any good Oldham fans?

As Aber touched on yesterday, we have completed the signing of Eastleigh defender Joe Partington for an undisclosed fee.

They say it's the most money they've ever received for a player. Don't know what that may be though.

Their supporters are gutted and say he's the best defender outside the FL, so he definitely sounds like a Darrell Clarke type player.

A good start to our business. Now for a goalkeeper and midfielder... oh and to keep hold of Matty Taylor.

Always thought he'd be a decent box to box type midfielder when he was with us. He can pick out a pass.

£3m and he's yours.
Think if he leaves he'd probably find a home in the Championship, and the money would be enough to put off anyone is this league.
Not seen anything on our side to suggest Sheff Utd would be in the running, but I imagine he might be tempted.
