Quite a few non-league teams have tried to sign him over the last 18 months.PORT Vale are scouting Solihull Moors striker Omar Bogle as they consider a move for the 22-year-old in the summer.
The 6ft 2in hit-man has been pulling scouts to Solihull's Conference North games as the former Birmingham City youth player builds on his reputation.
Bogle scored 18 goals last season and was named Solihull's player of the year.
He played for Birmingham City's reserves as a 16-year-old and had a brief spell with Glasgow Celtic, playing in their under-19s, before making his name with Hinckley and now Solihull.
He's on Vale's list of potential targets for this summer.
When asked about Bogle at this afternoon's press-conference at Vale Park, coach and scouting co-ordinator Mark Grew said: "We have had him watched on numerous occasions. I have sent people to watch him and they have come back with good reports. We will have to wait and see on that one."
We tried last January and the summer. Grimsby were close to signing him last summer, too.
