Dicko and Kevin Mcdonald to Pompey? Jackett loves them both and they both have good L1 experience and love the big stage that Pompey would provide. I also think both will struggle to play a role with their clubs next season in the Championship.

Dicko?? Source??

I'm a bit out of touch with other league players.

No source. Just an idea. Jackett likes 'his' players. Dicko's days at Wolves must be numbered. He loves a big atmosphere.

Edit: seen that Rangers and Brighton are after Mcdonald. Which means he will sit on a bench for a couple of years.

Doubt it, he'll want money which is something we don't have a great deal of.
We have probably offered him a token deal as cover, as McCall will want a ball playing centre back. When I say you might have offered him more that doesn't mean you've offered a lot.

Will be sad to see him go, a warrior who puts everything on the line, probably one of my favourite City players of all time in terms of pure enjoyment he gave. Loves a massive goal.

MacDonald has been an integral part of Fulham's midfield this season mate, won't be going anywhere.

Saw him a couple of times late ;ast season. He looked slower than he did with us. I like him, but I think his days are numbered in the Championship.

Shrimpers; Luke O'Neill. Any kop?
We turned him into a positionless filler player but he was pretty good at right back when first joined, so it is hard to judge. Last season mostly played midfield when he did play, usually when we needed to be more defensive. If he plays right back I think he will do okay, but I am surprised he stayed at this level, expected League 2.

He's got a year on his contract left so there'd be a fee involved. Unless we've just waived it to get him off the books. He's one of those players that wouldn't be a bad signing on a free for this league but I wouldn't want to spend any money on him.

Source?

Saw the rumours weeks back but not seen or heard anything this end for quite a while.
A guy who is generally ITK on our forum.

Could be way off the mark, but wouldn't be surprised. He's on £3,500+ per week ('apparently'), and a lot of our fans find him ineffective. I admire his talent, and link up play, and in some games in recent seasons, we have really missed him - sadly, a lot of the games just pass him by. He isn't a striker, he doesn't have the finishing ability, nor the pace - but he's not a bad number ten. 1 in 4 for us.

I'd like him to stay, personally.

Robinson has been after a number 10 for a while so would imagine that's where he would be looking to play him rather than as a striker, from the way you've described him he just sounds like a not quite as good Josh Magennis.

We signed Cameron Burgess from Fulham yesterday. We were in desperate need of a CB so it's good to get one in.

Alexander has confirmed our interest in McCardle as well, would be good to get in another good CB.

Bloody good signing mate, cracking player and wish we had brought him back.

I think they paid a fee for him which probably stopped us from competing for him and looking else where.

I've not seen Magennis much but Clarke is a different player. He's more skilfull but slower and has no physical game. And you're right I'd much rather have Magennis.

He used to score agains MK every time he played them so maybe that's why Robinson is interested.

We've signed Charlie Raglan on a 2 year deal after his loan spell last season. Solid player so happy with this as he formed a decent partnership with Curtis Nelson. Expect another starting CB to be signed based on comments today as well which will leave us with 4 including Aaron Martin.

Very good CB, I'll be gutted to see him leave to be honest. It's McArdle btw, a lot spell it the way you have though even after he has been here 5 years.

I think we found him a bit limited. He can head a ball but that's largely it. The lad got out foxed and out paced a few too many times so he fell out of favour

Did well at the end of the season for us, rightly keeping Chey Dunkley out of the team. Only had one bad game and that was coming in after a long period without playing.

Suited our passing style as he appeared comfortable on ball and as you say good in the air. He complements Curtis Nelson's weaknesses and vice-versa so his lack of pace isn't so much of a problem. He was also comfortable on the left of the centre-halve pairing which Nelson and Dunkley weren't.

I suspect he will be immediate back up based on the comments about further strengthening in that position by Michael Appleton and Aaron Martin still recovering from serious injury.

Very likeable Billy Clarke, gives his all and on a good day he's brilliant, unfortunately those good days are a rarity and there's been times these last two seasons at least where you actually felt sorry for him where nothing he did came off - his form and confidence noticeably go hand in hand.
We played him as this technical player who keeps the ball, ties it together and scores a few, but watch the first half of the PO final and it summed up his faults, all effort but gave the ball away constantly and missed our best chance of the game, the one on one. Sort of sad to see him go because of the effort he gave but footballing wise, not bothered in the slightest. Plus we're getting a fee which is a bonus.

Gillingham have signed Gaby Zakuani on a one year deal. He'll be unavailable quite a lot, but if you can get him on the pitch for more than three games in a row you'll have a good defender on your hands.
