Would be amazed if Forest even thought about that, imagine we’d definitely match it and give him a decision to make if they did accept.

I personally don’t think he’s that good and £100k is probably not far off being fair, but as they’ve got him under contract for a while they may as well leave him here and let his value go up a load more if we get promoted.

Hanson would be a very good signing for Bury if he could get back to his best, but he's spent the best part of 12 months around Bradford on the piss according to various people. That said I think a club battling the drop League 1 or League 2 is about his level, he will give it his all and put far more effort in than most of their players worth a punt imo.

Regarding us, not heard anything as yet. We usually are slow burners though in the transfer market, so don't expect anyone through the door yet.

Local rag says Toumani Diagouraga will be playing his last game for us this Saturday against Bury. Been on a three month contract and has been a major reason for our rapid upturn in results. Seem to be two reasons why he will be off, first we cannot match the offers of other clubs, and second his family is in Leeds and he wants to go back up north.

Apparently three league one and one championship clubs have tabled him offfers. Bradford you likely to be one of the three?

Midfield. He started off fairly defensively, and basically added some steel and composure. In the last few games he has started to come forward and scored a couple. Good at breaking up the opposition and playing short passes. He is not that fast, but fairly combative and cool under pressure.

He was released by Leeds August and came to us on a short loan as a free. Has played 17 games for us and been a major reason for our turn around. To say people down here are unhappy about his departure is an understatement.

He is 30 years old so I assume looking for his last decent payday.

At 30 it's unlikely, unless his wages are dirt cheap. We aim for more younger players these days which can be developed. We are looking for a winger and attacking mid however, we were linked with Limarias from you last week, but not heard anything since.

Ripley is a quality signing obviously, but from what we have seen this season Clarke’s legs have gone.

Still sad to see him go as he’s been an excellent servant for us in the time he’s been here.
