It looks like we've done a bit of business and a new loanee is coming in on Thursday.

Striker/left winger, Prem loanee, played at this level previously. All the signs seem to be that it's Devante Cole, although plenty of others fit the bill.

In other news, the Keith Andrews saga will run until the end of the window, I'm sure. Watford will be forced to accept whatever we're offering eventually. It's just a matter of them and Bolton squabbling in the meantime.

Other than that, we're expecting a left back to cover Lewie. Very quiet on that and no doubt, it'll be someone equally capable of covering centre half. Probably a loan, but who knows...?

The Matt Done bid seems to have been rebuffed, and I'd doubt we'll go back in if this Prem Loanee comes off.

Nah, just can't see it. Even a modest contribution to his wages would be a massive issue for us. Pretty sure it's a Prem Kid. Others mentioned include Callum Robinson, Chuba Akpom, Serge Gnabry, Isiah Brown & Dominic Solankie. All have the pedigree, but for varying reasons I just don't see anyone other than Devante Cole.

Just seen the comments from Brigthon fans. :dk: Play him in the middle on the shoulder of the centre half, not as a winger. Simple really. Put him one on one with a centre half and he'll beat him, and will ordinarily score. He's as good a finisher as anyone we've had (including Benik and Bamford).

To be fair last season he was moved out wide after Cotts came in and was fantastic, then when his confidence was up again he was made more central

We HAVE signed Balint Bajner from Ipswich Town permanent - doesn't say what contract though.

Till the end of the season. We should have given him 5 years, he's majestic, he's powerful, he's incredible...He's Bajner.

He scored most his goals from us on wide right when Cotterill came in, so it's no excuse.

The times he played down the Middle, JET was freeing up the space for him to play in.

Was surprised Barnsley didn't do more to extend the loan of Devante Cole, or was it more the case that Manchester City had other ideas?

I think they were told by City they wanted him playing Chanpionship football for the second half of the season.

This also dovetails with the news doing the rounds that we missed out on someone last week because his club wanted him playin in the Championship. It could be that Man City have changed their minds and it was Cole all along. We heard rumours about him coming before Christmas.

Also, his dad did some coaching with us for a while alongside Robbo so that will be a factor if we do land him, I'm sure.

Serge Gnabry, haha, as if you'd be getting him on loan at League 1 level. Some of these rumours do make me laugh (not having a go at you, I know you're just passing info on Camdenite).

He's signing for Bradford. Paperwork has taken 7 months to complete.

We're prioritising signing a defender even though we've scored like 1 goal in our last 5 home games. Pressley is inept.

Rotherham and MK Dons after Charlie Raglan according to some Sky Sports punter.

Leave blockhead alone.

Abbott absolutely bodied Pressley in an interview on our website. Said he couldn't believe a club would let a 20 year old with that amount of League 1 experience for nothing. Apparently his wages are nothing as well, he's earning hardly anything unless he gets an appearance/goal fee.

Pressley himself has said he didn't want to let him go so who knows what the fuck is going on there. The man continues to look like more and more of a joke.

We've got left back Chris Stokes training with us from Forest Green Rovers, don't know much about him but seems pretty highly rated their end.

In the latest hilarious Steven Pressley back-tracking move he's now decided that Marcus Tudgay isn't allowed to leave, a mere 3 weeks after telling him he was surplus to requirements. Excellent managing.

Did pressley ever move players on after his outburst a while ago?

Nicky Clark arriving on loan after Rangers refused to sell him to Hibs according to Scottish newspapers.

I'm not entirely sure they have newspapers in Scotland though so I remain skeptical.

Luke Daniels signed on a permanent deal, we needed a goalkeeper but it's strange that's its not a loan.

Rumour has it Mathieu Baudry is off to Luton. I hope not, I would like to see him starting, not fourth choice as he currently is. IMO was our best defender last season, far too good for League Two.

Devante Cole has joined MK Dons on loan.

Reckon he'll tear it up for a decent team.
