Chem Campbell signed. Don’t know much about him. Any Wycombe fans?

It seems like the Fornah deal will be permanent, with the player pictured and signed to a deal. Forest and Derby going back and forth over future fees, though, as I suspect like with Washington and Wilson there will be no payment upfront.

Along with Fornah, it sounds like we might also have a striker on loan through the door over the next 24 hours. Coburn and Michael Smith have been aired as suggestions.

We shall wait and see.

Cole in fairness was superb on the day, they didn't create much but everything went in! Did like the look of their right winger mind.

Was he? He had the 3 easiest tap ins he'll ever score and he nearly cocked one of them up as well.

He isn't one that's ever looked great against us, maybe more down to our defending than his quality that afternoon!

Positive he scored a stoppage time winner against us up at Bradford as well one year. He'll never be a top Championship striker, IMO.

Charlton, Bolton and Reading linked with Rubin Colwill from Cardiff on loan. Would be a very good player at league one level

He’s made of glass so you’ll hardly see him, he’s not even managed to play 20 league games a season in the four he’s had out on loan.

Thought he looked a top prospect a year ago, stagnated last year.

Looks a powerful guy for a wide man.

He was decent for us but that's about it. Showed glimpses of real quality like his goal against Shrewsbury but didn't think he was consistent enough and like the other post mentioned, he has had a lot of injuries. He was often used as an impact sub and his powerful presence did worry tiring defenders at times.

Apparently Kieran Phillips and Nathan Fraser both done to be confirmed shortly. We’ve gone to having two striker to now possibly 5 (Mata now available to play).

Decent forward line we’ll have, be happier once it’s all official of course.

We’re after Jorge Grant as well but would command a few, most likely 6 figures I imagine. Remember him being quite good at Lincoln(?)

John-Jules due to sign, honestly I really love watching him play when he’s at it. He used to give our academy side kittens but he has been riddled with injuries since trying to make his mark in senior football. A very high end prospect, with some high end risk. We have established attackers, already, but lacked a little bit of a wildcard that could become something - I hope it is him.

I don’t think I ever saw an academy striker with a better first touch.

He's available on loan as well I think. I'd love him back here, I'm kinda hoping Tyler Walker gets in his and our ear but where he'd likely play for us, we're probably too strong in the sense that we'd end up with an expensive option on the bench one way or the other - not sure we're at the stage budget wise to start doing that too many times - one of those we can probably afford like Tyler Walker but not two or three.

He actually had a slow start here, it was Appleton that revved into him after a game at AFCW, hauled him off at HT and called him out for his lack of work rate. He responded well, the penny dropped and spent a chunk of his time here on the left of a front three but did have a fairly long spell in the '6' as well when Bridcutt got injured because he was the only other midfielder who could receive the ball in that area and start attacks.

An on song Grant is top end L1 level, he's not quite got the athleticism to be a Championship player, which is presumably why it's not quite happened at Hearts for him after not quite hitting the heights at Posh either when they were in the Championship.

Barnsley have signed John McAtee from us on loan in a bit of a reversal from the usual Barnsley to Luton pipeline. We’ve obviously barely seen him given he was still with Grimsby last season but by all accounts he’s had a really impressive pre season.

We’ve upped our bid for Jack Marriott, sounds like the deal may get done this time.

500k for Marriott is madness.

Bonkers. He hasn't really done anything for a couple of years now and had a few injuries hasn't he?

Carlisle boss was talking in their pre match about how they can't get strikers in as any they look at other clubs are just throwing double the money at.

Surely it's not sustainable for some of these teams to be throwing that sort of money about. It just feels like cheating to me.
