Jensen Weir signs on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, seems to have done well for Morecambe last season with 10 goals from midfield but limited game time with Blackpool this season.

Need bodies desperately in the middle with Arblaster going back, Garrity out long term and Ojo also injured, Conlon set to depart plus always a risk Devine gets recalled.

Somewhat surprisingly Tom Conlon has moved to Non League to sign for Oldham Athletic. Great servant over 6 years for us, captain for a period and outstanding for a couple of those years in League Two.

That’s a really ambitious move for Oldham getting Conlon in. Won’t go over old ground about what he’s like as a player other than wish him all the best and hope he gets Oldham back into the EFL where he and they should be. Decent team they have with him and Norwood there.

Weir seems to add another goal scoring option from midfield while Garrity is out injured. While we don’t have a prolific forward we do have in him and Chislett people who can chip in from midfield which is always nice to have.

I think that's a good signing. Did very well last season and impressed whenever I saw him play.

Brown seems to have lost the plot since he had those 'issues'. In fairness, he only really had a purple patch with Exeter...

I think that's a good signing. Did very well last season and impressed whenever I saw him play.

He did pretty well at Morecambe but I'm a little concerned that a pretty average Blackpool side have barely played him.

Yeah he definitely played much better against us for Exeter than he ever has for us.
Even his ex/new-manager Taylor hasnt been starting him until Norwich, where he could have cost us a trip to Anfield with his bad miss.
He shows good footwork every now and then and a worldy against you guys, but other than that he seems very lazy.

Usually, Hartridge is very solid. Reliable. Always giving you a 7/10. But the past few weeks he's been shocking. Almost like his head has been turned elsewhere

Josh Onomah apparently close to signing for Shrewsbury, could be a good signing for them as he was a very highly touted player a few years ago. I'm kind of glad our link was usual BS paper talk, purely for the fact that the lad hasn't had a proper match in 9 months & will be playing catch up massively at a hectic stage of the season.

Brandon Cooper has returned to Swansea after his loan period with us ended.

Thought he did quite well, but form tailed off a bit at the end when he got sent off for elbowing Derbys James Collins - but most of our teams form tailed off at that point too.

Looks like we've decided to free up space/wages for an attacking player, we'll likely stick with Beckles, Happe, Turns and maybe Adam Thompson (might make a long awaited return to the team) as our centre halfs.

Can only name 6 loanees in a matchday squad, which likely the reason he's gone back, we need an attacking player more what the injuries we keep getting there.

Interesting that Pete o’rourke is reporting that Macgilvery’s move to Stevenage has collapsed. He was apparently our first choice before we targeted Lewis. So I do wonder if this will change things

Yes please mate!! When you’ve had James Scott leading the line, even a disinterested Jevani is a massive upgrade!

Quite a lot of noise online that we’re signing Canadian striker Theo Bair from Motherwell. A very left field shout but then Caldwell does love signing players from north of the border.

Anyway, he’s a big unit who’s scored 5 goals in the SPL this season. Could be good, may be shite, but I’d take the punt.
