Good Signing for Coventry, very good player for this level. Didn't quite reach the levels he was used to last season, but still a good player.

He got injured at Peterborough back in February and we didn't see him again after and it was huge huge blow to lose him.

Hopefully Wigan are happy to add another £300k to Will Grigg's fee so he can be sold and we can drop another £150k into the bank.

If Forest can do the same with Paterson, I'm happy!

Not sure, think he's past it now. Anyway he's signed and just waiting on official confirmation in the next 24 hours to a week....we're so slow at announcing deals some times

Third time's the charm?

We have signed Roman Vincelot from Leyton O for a fee rumoured to be between £200-500,0000.
I want to know where the fuck Sisu got that money, they hardly ever pay fees for players.
They did win the right to appeal in the case against the council in the high court today, perhaps they are spending some of the compo they could receive .
Still great player for this league and that's the second player in the door this week to go with Sam Ricketts.

Well it's obviously going to be one of the transfer listed players?

Spill .......

I believe it's out on your forum now anyway, but yeah. Luke James. Season long loan.

I was told earlier this week. I'm not overly happy with it. He's actually a good player, just needs that confidence boost.

I like him. Links play well. Works his balls off and doesn't stop running. Stronger than you think he should be. Decent with his back to goal. His downfall was he never had the luck in front of goal with us. It just didn't fall right. His confidence was shattered and he was blasted by the chairman in that Twitter meltdown he had. He was snatching at chances and in the end, he stopped shooting as he just didn't have the confidence.

Re-store that confidence and he'll be a really good player for this level.

According to our in-house 'source' the fee was £25k.

Wonder where he'll fit in for us then. Sounds quite similar to Billy Clarke. Cheers.

All of those season tickets sold and all Bradford can get is a Peterborough reject who has scored 1 goal in 32 games? Blimey, there must be trouble at Bradford off the pitch.

Reject? Poor trolling.

Bradford wanted to buy him. We don't wanna sell, hence loan.

You do realise every post like this - or any post of yours for that matter - isn't funny and/or banter. Be informative, mildly humorous, but never a c***.

We have a settled squad so there's no point going out and spunking wages on big names. Josh Morris and James both come rated from people who've seen them play in this league so I'm happy with them. My only issue with a loan would be if he does well Posh will surely want him back, especially if we are both competing for a play-off spot.

Rumours we're going to get Milan Lalkovic. Ex player, loves the fans, loves the club and Deano is a big fan of him and he is transfer listed. He recently tweeted about putting his Sheffield flat up for sale, been favouriting tweets from Walsall fans asking him to come back and he has now changed his picture on Twitter to him from his Walsall days...

Still just speculation though. Would be a decent signing as long as it won't be our last forward signing of the summer, if it was then it would be disappointing.

If Lalkovic resigns, then he would be our last attacking signing. Smith would be stupid to get Lalkovic and another in IMO. He'd end up with a huge amount of options in the final third that he'd never be able to use.

Bradshaw, Lalkovic, Sawyers, Cook, Forde, Baxendale, Morris, Murphy, Bakayoko to fill 3 maybe 4 places seems like a lot to me. Especially when Smith won't drop Sawyers, has Cook as one of his favourites and Morris ended the season exceptionally.

Baxendale can leave as far as I'm concerned. I'd loan Bakayoko and Murphy out too. If that happens then I'd like Hiwula too.

Same person that first broke the Vincelot transfer is saying we only spent 25k on him. Great bit of business.

Luke James is a good player, no idea why Peterborough would loan him out to a divisional rival.

Cheers for the info, without me having to trawl through a load of Peterborough articles what sort of length contract is he on? Guess you'd have given him a decent length one considering you spent a fair bit and he's only young

We are set to sign a centre back today according to local journo. Only centre back I know we are interested in is Anthony Gerrard but I reckon he will end up lower championship/higher League one.

Seems unlikely we're signing John Lundstram due to interest from other clubs, one rumoured to be Bolton.

Think we'll be seeing David Fox sign in the coming days.

Good progress being made with 2 more targets. 1 expected to be Stephen McLaughlin which is abit mehh he did OK for us when he was here last year sometimes very good sometimes wouldn't know he was on the pitch Stevenage and Wycombe play-off games really showed those 2 sides of him. The other is a mystery..........
