Sounds like Owen Moxon is close, need it now Joe Morrell is likely to miss a big chunk of the season. We now probably need another CM and possibly a RB in the next 2 days

I would have thought you'd have got Ryan Woods in. Looked very decent in his first couple of games for us but then performances declined rapidly

His Dad is a season ticket holder at Salop. I know he wants to come back but I think we’ll wait until the summer and get him on a permanent. A midfield trio potentially consisting of Woods/Price/Bayliss going into next season would be a dream!

If you get Moxon back to his best he’ll be an asset. He’s been carrying a hip injury all season so that may need to be sorted once and for all first.

Us accepting the deal shows that the club know we’re down. We don’t need the money so if there was even a chance of staying up we wouldn’t be entertaining the idea and would just let him walk for nothing in summer.

Good luck to him. He was a big part of our promotion last season.

As we now play 4-3-3 instead of a 5-3-2, we desperately need a couple of wingers, a RB and a CM. Unfortunately Hursty has said that it’s unlikely anybody will be joining. Think if the PE teacher that is Taylor was still here, we probably would have had two or three new players by now but Hurst has rejected them coming as he didn’t want them.

We were watching Paul Blackett of South Shields last night. Not heard of him so went on Twitter to see he scored in a 3-0 win at Edgar Street last night and the South Shield fans seem to worship the ground that he walks upon. Big jump from Conference North to League One though. Don’t need him anyway as we have five strikers already. Have seen a rumour about Leyton Orient wanting Aiden O’Brien though (hopefully true as he’s a complete waste of space).

Think we’ll sign Jack Price once he’s fit and that’ll be that. The Paul Hurst appointment should have happened weeks ago but we should easily stay up with what we have tbf.

Heard nothing of us wanting Aidan O’Brien down here. Wellens did say he wanted one more attacking option if he could.

Was a rumour last night that Dan Agyei maybe being injured again, but it looked more like people on X putting two and two together and getting five.

We’ve also signed Halifax forward Millenic Alli for an undisclosed fee on a 2.5 year deal. Looks quick and direct.

There was a bit of fall out in the summer when we signed Jesse Debrah in that they were unhappy with us for some reason but think it was a misunderstanding on what Flitcroft had said that they took wrongly.

Yeah, seems to fit with what I’ve read about him so far. As you say, he needs time and could well be a great player for us long term. Looking forward to seeing him play.

With the greatest of respect, I hope you, Pompey and Derby go up this season. When you can afford to have strikers for a rainy day and splashing 750k on one, it just shows what we're up against. This isn't division 3 normality and without you 3 it feels like it would be a bit more of a level playing field....a bit like when we were last in this league in 2016 when Gillingham, Burton, Scunthorpe and Walsall were all in the top 10. Perhaps the only team then to be classed as too big for that level was Sheffield United at that time.

Sounds like we might be continuing our signing of young players from LOI with Senan Mullen. Won't be one for the first team for 18 months, so will presumably play for the Academy but train with the first team.

I'm not sure what swung it(!) but Mullen has ended up signing for Torino in Serie A!

Yeah Evatt was covering himself in case he didn’t get the striker in he wanted. He isn’t going to come out and say yes we no longer want them and then rely on them in a promotion race when his target didn’t come off.
